The Ministry of Education leads national implementation, the PIU coordinates the day-to-day work, our beneficiary institutions, TAMCC and NEWLO connect the project to post-secondary education, GIDC manages the Competitive Matching Grants Programme in Grenada, and the OECS Commission leads the regional component.

The Governments of the Commonwealth of Dominica and Grenada have received financing
from the Global Partnership for Education through the World Bank for the Windward Islands
Sector Transformation for Learning Enhancement (WISTLE) Project. The Ministries of
Education intend to jointly procure a consulting firm to develop, pilot and support
implementation of enhanced lower-secondary curricula and aligned assessment systems.
The assignment will produce common regional solutions while contextualizing outputs for
each country.

The consultancy will design and support implementation of an enhanced lower-secondary
curriculum, strengthen national assessment systems, build institutional capacity, integrate
digital delivery through an LMS, incorporate inclusive education and TVET pathways, and
establish sustainable systems that remain after project completion.

The OECS Skills and Innovation Project's Software Development Team (SDT) Ideation and Development Session continued today at the Hospitality Building of T.A. Marryshow Community College. 🇬🇩

💻 Regional team members continued working across three digital platforms:

📊 the Education Management Information System (EMIS), supporting stronger post-secondary education data and information sharing;

🎓 the OECS Virtual Campus, supporting online learning and access to educational content; and

💡 the Knowledge, Training and Innovation Platform (KTIP), supporting collaboration, knowledge exchange, networking, and innovation across the region.

🤝 The session brings together regional expertise to move these platforms forward through focused technical work and collaboration.
