September 7th, 2004. The day Grenada changed, and the day Grenadians showed exactly who they are.

Hurricane Ivan tore through the island, homes, churches, schools, generations of history, gone in a matter of hours. But what followed was its own kind of story: neighbours rebuilding neighbours' roofs, communities sharing what little they had left, a country that stood back up together.

If you were here, what's the memory that's stayed with you since Ivan? We'd be honoured to hear it, and to hold space for it in the comments.

Two judges can watch the same performance and score it completely differently. This workshop was about closing that gap.

Ahead of Festival of the Arts, judges from across categories sat down together to align on what a winning score actually looks like, same standards, same expectations, whether they're judging dance, drama, music, or spoken word.

What do you think matters most when judging a live performance?

Cool stone walls, a narrow squeeze, and daylight waiting at the other end.

Guess the spot.

This is the Sendall Tunnel, built in 1894 to let horse-drawn carriages cut through the hill between the Carenage and the Esplanade in St. George's, still carrying cars and pedestrians through the same 340 feet of rock today.

Ever driven through without knowing the story behind it?

Every choir starts somewhere.

Grenada Festival of the Arts competition is open to schools and community groups across every parish. If you've got a choir already rehearsing or just a group of people who love to sing together, this is your chance!

Which school or group in your community should be putting a choir together this year?

Before the ribbon, before the remarks, someone was already testing levels on the new board.

Sonic 7 Studio reopened at the Ministerial Complex on July 15th, and local artists were first through the door, checking the booth, running a few bars, seeing what the new setup could do.

Officials from the Division were there too, marking the relaunch of a space built for Grenadian musicians to actually use.

What would you record first if you had the studio to yourself for an hour?
