As Deputy Ambassador Aviel Avraham concludes his diplomatic mission in Ghana, we extend our heartfelt appreciation for his dedicated service, friendship and commitment to strengthening the enduring relationship between Israel and Ghana.
Throughout his tenure, Mr Avraham worked tirelessly to deepen cooperation in education, agriculture, health, innovation, trade and people-to-people exchanges. His engagement with government institutions, academia, development partners and communities has helped foster meaningful partnerships that will continue to benefit both our countries.
Beyond diplomacy, he will be remembered for his warmth, humility and genuine connection with the people of Ghana. His contributions have left a lasting impact, and his legacy will continue to inspire stronger collaboration between our two nations.
“As I conclude my diplomatic mission in Ghana and prepare to return to Israel after three meaningful and rewarding years of service, I would like to take this opportunity to express my deepest appreciation and gratitude for the friendship, support and cooperation you extended to me throughout my tenure.
“Serving as a representative of the State of Israel to Ghana, Liberia and Sierra Leon has been a great privilege and profound personal honor. Throughout this period, I have been fortunate to experience not only the professionalism and openness of the Ghanaian people.
"… Ghana has truly become a second home for me and my family. The friendships we have built, the experiences we have shared and the memories we have created here will remain with us for many years to come. As I complete this chapter, I do so with immerse pride and gratitude for having had the opportunity to serve my country in this remarkable nation.
“I leave Ghana with great admiration for its people, deep appreciation for the cooperation we have achieved, and sincere hope that the bonds between Ghana and Israel will continue to strengthen in the years ahead,” Mr Avraham noted in a short message.
