AISA condemns the contractualisation of teaching in Karnataka’s universities and the normalisation of guest faculty in place of permanent appointments by the government led by Siddaramaiah.

AISA demands immediate filling of all sanctioned vacancies, regularisation of long-serving guest faculty, and increased budget allocation for public education.

ಕರ್ನಾಟಕದ ವಿಶ್ವವಿದ್ಯಾಲಯಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಶಿಕ್ಷಕ ಹುದ್ದೆಗಳನ್ನು ಒಪ್ಪಂದ ಆಧಾರಿತವಾಗಿಸುವ ಕ್ರಮವನ್ನೂ, ಖಾಯಂ ಇರುವ ನೇಮಕಾತಿಗಳ ಬದಲು ಅತಿಥಿ ಉಪನ್ಯಾಸಕರನ್ನು ಸಾಮಾನ್ಯಗೊಳಿಸುತ್ತಿರುವ ಸಿದ್ದರಾಮಯ್ಯ ನೇತೃತ್ವದ ಸರ್ಕಾರದ ನೀತಿಯನ್ನು AISA ತೀವ್ರವಾಗಿ ಖಂಡಿಸುತ್ತದೆ.

ಎಲ್ಲ ಅನುಮೋದಿತ ಖಾಲಿ ಹುದ್ದೆಗಳನ್ನು ತಕ್ಷಣವೇ ಭರ್ತಿ ಮಾಡಬೇಕು, ದೀರ್ಘಕಾಲ ಸೇವೆ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಿರುವ ಅತಿಥಿ ಉಪನ್ಯಾಸಕರನ್ನು ಶಾಶ್ವತಗೊಳಿಸಬೇಕು, ಮತ್ತು ಸಾರ್ವಜನಿಕ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣಕ್ಕೆ ಸರ್ಕಾರದ ಬಜೆಟ್ ಹಂಚಿಕೆಯನ್ನು ಹೆಚ್ಚಿಸಬೇಕು ಎಂದು AISA ಆಗ್ರಹಿಸುತ್ತದೆ.

ಭಾರತದ ಧಾರ್ಮಿಕ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯತೆಯ ಕುರಿತು ಪ್ರಮುಖ ಸಂಶೋಧಕರಲ್ಲಿ ಒಬ್ಬರಾದ ಡಾ. ಶಮ್ಸುಲ್ ಇಸ್ಲಾಂ ಅವರು ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾಗವಹಿಸಿದ್ದರು. ಅವರು ಭಗತ್ ಸಿಂಗ್ ಅವರ ರಾಜಕೀಯ ಚಿಂತನೆಗಳು, ಇಂದಿನ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ HRA ಮತ್ತು HSRAಗಳ ಪ್ರಾಸಂಗಿಕತೆ, ಮತ್ತು ಸ್ವಾತಂತ್ರ್ಯ ಹೋರಾಟದ ಬಗ್ಗೆ RSSನ ನಿಲುವು ಕುರಿತು ಮಾತನಾಡಿದರು. ಇಂದಿನ ಯುವಕರು ಭಗತ್ ಸಿಂಗ್ ಮತ್ತು ಕಾಮ್ಯುನಿಸಂ ಕುರಿತು ಓದುವುದು ಅತ್ಯಂತ ಅಗತ್ಯವೆಂದು ಅವರು ಒತ್ತಿ ಹೇಳಿದರು.

ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವನ್ನು ನಮ್ಮ ಸಹಚರರ ಸಾಂಸ್ಕೃತಿಕ ಪ್ರದರ್ಶನಗಳು ಇನ್ನಷ್ಟು ಸಮೃದ್ಧಗೊಳಿಸಿತು.

ನಮ್ಮ ಮುಂದಿನ ಚಟುವಟಿಕೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾಗವಹಿಸಲು ನಮ್ಮೊಂದಿಗೆ ಸೇರಿ. ಹೆಚ್ಚಿನ ಮಾಹಿತಿಗಾಗಿ ನಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಅನುಸರಿಸಿ.

We were joined by Dr. Shamsul Islam, one of India's foremost researchers on religious nationalism. He talked about the political ideas of Bhagat Singh, the relevance of HRA and HSRA today, and the RSS's attitude towards the freedom struggle. He emphasised on the need for today's youth to read about Bhagat Singh and Communism.

Today marks the martyrdom day of comrades Bhagat Singh, Sukhdev, and Rajguru of Hindustan Socialist Republican Association. HSRA led by Bhagat Singh etched a new path in the anti-British struggle. Their unwavering resolve to free India not only from imperialism, but also from class exploitation, inspires us even today.
With the world teetering on the edge of another imperialist war, let us come together to remember the life and politics of Bhagat Singh.

Comrade AJ from AISA addressing the protestors at Freedom Park today, demanding the revocation of The Transgender Persons (Protection of Rights) Amendment Bill, 2026.

The Fascist government is on the way of eliminating the rights of all oppressed peoples. This bill must be seen in continuation of all the anti-people policies brought out by the fascist RSS-BJP against all the oppressed peoples of the country.

This is not the first time the feudal Indian state has attempted to control trans bodies. We must continue and broaden the struggle against the state that continually tries to control the bodies, livelihoods, and lives of people.

Down with the oppressive bill!
