With a strong focus on customer satisfaction, BEML has established a robust nationwide after-sales and service network, comprising 12 Regional Offices, 15 District Offices, 7 Activity Centres, and 5 Service Centres strategically located across the country. Further extending its reach beyond national borders, BEML has expanded its international footprint to over 72 countries, offering reliable service support to a global clientele. Under its Defence segment, the company offers High Mobility & Recovery vehicles, Bridge Systems, vehicles for Missile projects, Mine Marking Equipment, Armoured Recovery vehicles (ARV), ARV for Arjun MBT, Tank Transportation Trailers, Power Pack for battle Tank, Milrail Wagons, Mine Ploughs, Crash Fire Tenders, Aircraft Towing Tractors, Aircraft Weapon Loading Trolley, Air Borne Structure, Missile Components, etc. In the Rail & Metro segment, BEML provides passenger vehicles such as Vande Bharat sleeper coaches, EMUs, Metro cars, and maintenance & utility vehicles. In the Mining & Construction vertical, the company offers a wide range of equipment, including bulldozers, excavators, dumpers, rope shovels, walking draglines, loaders, water sprinklers, motor graders, pipe layers, tyre handlers, and C-Cranes. BEML has recently achieved significant milestones with the delivery of key projects that contribute to the nation’s growth, including India’s first indigenously designed and manufactured Vande Bharat Sleeper Trainset, a 1500 HP Engine for Main Battle Tanks, the first-of-its-kind sustainable Electric Rope Shovel for mining, and Driverless Metro Trainsets for Metro projects, and most recently, developing India’s first indigenous high-speed bullet train that may run upto 250-280 kmph. Further to have focused approach within the business verticals, the present business verticals of BEML have been restructured into 12 Strategic Business Units (SBU’s) viz Mining, Construction, Sustenance, HMV, Armoured, Commuter Rail, Metro Rail, Commuter Rail Sustenance, International Business Division, Hydraulics & Powerline, Engine and Aerospace, and 2 micro SBUs viz SEZ & Maritime are created under SBU Aerospace. Indigenisation of Indian railway products, defence products, dozers, dumpers, excavators is as high as 90 per cent. BEML has a diverse portfolio of products and exported its products and enjoys dominant presence in the mining machinery sector in the country with more than 50% of the coal production coming through BEML machines.
