KAA Foundation’s Anti-Drug Awareness Initiative in Schools
KAA Foundation has launched a series of anti-drug awareness programmes in schools to educate students about the dangers of substance abuse and to promote healthy, positive lifestyles. The sessions were designed to engage students in their own language through interactive discussions, games, and cultural activities.
As part of the programme, students participated in fun-filled activities and witnessed special dance performances carrying strong anti-drug messages. These creative approaches helped convey the importance of staying away from drugs in an engaging and memorable manner.
Professor G Ravindran, a strong advocate of transformative education, interacted closely with the students by sitting among them, encouraging open conversations, and creating a lively learning environment. His engaging approach inspired students to think critically and express themselves confidently.
The programme concluded with the distribution of prizes to participating students and the administration of an anti-drug pledge, reaffirming their commitment to a drug-free future. As a mark of appreciation and recognition, KAA Foundation presented the school with a “Drug-Free Awareness School” Certificate for successfully hosting and supporting the anti-drug awareness campaign.
“Together, we educate. Together, we prevent. Together, we build a drug-free future.”
