Bodh Gaya, located on the banks of the Niranjana River, is revered by Buddhists all over the world as the location where Gautama Buddha attained enlightenment under the Bodhi Tree in 534 BC. The Mahabodhi Temple, which houses the Bodhi Tree, attracts throngs of visitors from all over the world and is now a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Bodh Gaya is one of India's four major Buddhist pilgrimage sites, the other three being Kushinagar, Lumbini, and Sarnath.

Bodh Gaya provides an exciting backdrop to many corporate events and meetings in.
The newly built Mahabodhi convention centre with an expense of Rs 145 crore, has a seating capacity of 2,000 people with facilities like an auditorium, meeting hall, dining hall, state guesthouse and VIP lounge.

Gaya is well connected by Road (National Highways) as well. The Grand Trunk Road (NH-2) touches Gaya at Dobhi, 30 km south joining Delhi & Kolkata Expressway. The state capital Patna is 120 km away and well connected by road (NH-83) and train services.
