WDRA Outreach Programme | Chennai

WDRA successfully conducted an Outreach Programme in Chennai on 03.09.2026 at NICM, Chennai, with active participation from key stakeholders of the agricultural warehousing and financial ecosystem.

Officials from the Co-operative Department, Agri Marketing & Agri Business, Tamil Nadu State Apex Co-operative Bank, TNWC, along with bankers from multiple nationalised banks, cold storage owners and traders, attended the programme.

The discussions focused on strengthening awareness of the e-NWR ecosystem, promoting warehouse registration, and facilitating easier access to pledge finance for farmers.

A step forward towards building a more efficient, secure and farmer-centric agricultural warehousing ecosystem.
