‘’PFC organises “STATE LEVEL PAINTING COMPETITION ON ENERGY CONSERVATION”

PFC organised an on-the-spot ‘State Level Painting Competition’ on 17th November, 2023 for 110 shortlisted school children at Vishwa Yuvak Kendra,New Delhi.

The competition was first conducted at school level in which around 8.5 lakhs students from 1000+ schools participated. A duly-constituted Jury selected 110 students out of this and these students participated in the State Level Painting Competition. Post the competition, the Winners and Runners-up were felicitated with prize money & certificates.

Shri Abhay Bakre, Director General, BEE was the Chief Guest at this event. Shri Manoj Sharma, Director (Commercial ), Shri Sudhakar Gaikwad, DDE, Shri S.S Rao (CGM) & Nodal Officer of the competition and senior officials of PFC, BEE and Delhi Education Department were present at the event.

PFC has sanctioned a loan of Rs 35 crore to Samudra Sangli Street Lighting Pvt Ltd (SSSLPL) for energy saving measures in street lighting system in Sangli, Miraj and Kupwad Municipal Areas of Maharashtra.

The MoU was signed in the presence of Shri H. K. Das, (ED-Projects, PFC) and Shri Prafulla Thote & Smt Yamini Thote (Directors, SSSLPL) along with other senior officials of PFC & SSSLPL.

📈Highest ever quarterly Profit After Tax of Rs. 3,847 cr in Q2’24,
Interim dividend of Rs. 4.50 per share

⚡️2.5 times jump in disbursements- from Rs. 21,790 cr. in H1’23 to Rs. 55,562 cr. in H1’24

✅ Double-digit growth of 19% in loan asset book.

⬇️ Net NPA ratio reached its lowest level at 1% in H1’24 vis-à-vis 1.31% in H1’23.

PFC participated at the two day Conference of Power and NRE Ministers of States and UTs held at Bharat Mandapam, Pragati Maidan, New Delhi. The conference was chaired by the Hon'ble Minister of Power and NRE, Shri R. K. Singh.

The event was attended by Power Ministers of various States, Heads of various State Power Utilities, CMD of Power PSUs and senior officials of MoP and State Government.

PFC’s Vigilance Unit organised the valedictory function of Vigilance Awareness Week-2023. CMD, CVO, Directors and senior PFC officials graced the occasion. Other officials attended the function virtually.

CMD, PFC and CVO, PFC addressed the employees on this occasion. GM (Vigilance) apprised about the activities and events organised during the three-month-long campaign and the highlights of vigilance awareness week.
During this event, prizes were distributed to the winners of the Poem writing, Slogan writing and Pictorial representation competitions, a video on PIDPI made by CVC was played for the participants, and a quiz on vigilance awareness was held for the participants.

The manual talks about the most common cybersecurity threats, impacts of cybersecurity threats, cyber-hygiene, best practices & tips to avoid cyber threats, which are relevant in the context of a financial organization.

PFC announces its partnership with the prestigious 37th National Games in Goa, happening from October 26 to Nov 9, 2023.

PFC is committed to supporting this event by providing Rs. 2.57 crore of financial assistance to the Goa Sports Authority under its CSR for organising Medical Camps during the event.

In this regard, an MoU was signed in Goa, in the presence of key dignitaries, including Mrs Swetika Sachan (IAS), Secretary Sports, Govt. of Goa, Dr Geeta S. Nagvenkar, Executive Director of Sports Authority of Goa, Shri Ali Shah, Executive Director (CSR) PFC, and Shri Durgesh Rangera, GM (CSR).

PFC has signed an MoU with the Ministry of Power for FY 2023-24 & FY 2024-25 as per the DPE’s performance evaluation system.

The MoU was signed by Shri Pankaj Agarwal, Secretary, Power and Smt. Parminder Chopra (CMD, PFC) in the presence of senior officials of the Ministry of Power and PFC.

DPE’s MoU performance evaluation system is used for setting annual targets for the CPSEs on various financial and operational parameters, and the CPSE’s overall performance is rated against such MoU targets. PFC has been awarded the highest rating of “Excellent” during the last two years (i.e. FY 2020-21 & FY 2021-22), and rating for FY 2022-23 is expected to be released soon.

As a preventive vigilance activity, a two day workshop was organized on Conduct, Discipline and Appeal Rules of the Corporation and Vigilance Administration for the newly recruited employees at Aurangabad on 12th &13th October, 2023. The workshop was aimed at increasing the awareness about CDA Rules and to give a brief overview of vigilance administration to the new recruits.

The workshop started with an ice-breaking session from an eminent faculty Shri Akarshan Srivastav, followed by two sessions of CDA Rules of PFC and Vigilance Administration by Shri Amal Kumar from PGCIL and Shri Upender Vennam, CVO, BDL and Midhani respectively.

The workshop was inaugurated by Smt. Parminder Chopra, CMD, Smt. Simmi R. Nakra, CVO and Shri Rajiv Ranjan Jha, Director Projects who interacted with the participants, thereby enhancing the skills and knowledge of the participants.

पीएफ़सी में हिंदी माह 2023 के उपलक्ष्य में दिनांक 10 अक्तूबर 2023 को एक सांस्कृतिक कार्यक्रम एवं कवि सम्मेलन का आयोजन किया गया। सांस्कृतिक कार्यक्रम में पीएफ़सी के कार्मिकों ने शानदार नृत्य-सांगीतिक प्रस्तुतियां दीं तथा कवि सम्मेलन में काव्य पाठ के लिए देश के निम्नलिखित प्रतिष्ठित कवियों को सादर आमंत्रित किया गया।

2. श्री महेश गर्ग ‘बेधड़क’ (हास्य व्यंग्य)
3. श्री अनिल ‘अग्रवंशी’ (हास्य व्यंग्य)

A workshop was conducted on October 5th, 2023, to mark the beginning of the 12th edition of the Integrated Rating Exercise for Power Distribution Utilities.

The workshop, presided over by Smt. Parminder Chopra, CMD, PFC had the participation of key officials including Ms. Kavita Rao, Director of the National Institute of Public Finance and Policy, Shri Ajay Talegaonkar, Member of E&C- Central Electricity Authority, and other PFC representatives.

As part of "Cyber Jagrukta Diwas" and Vigilance directives, the MS unit organised a workshop on "Cyber Hygiene & Security" on October 4, 2023, to create cybersecurity awareness among PFC employees.

The session featured experts from the Computer Emergency Response Team (CERT-IN), a group of information security specialists responsible for safeguarding against, detecting, and responding to cybersecurity incidents within organisations.

The event was presided over by Smt. Simmi Nakra, CVO & Shri P.S Sundaram, ED (MS), PFC. Employees joined the session through virtual and physical modes.
