The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Lowersiang District Unit, successfully convened its Extended District Executive Meeting on 19th October 2026 at the Circuit House, Likabali, with the participation of senior party leaders, elected representatives, district office bearers, Mandal presidents, Morcha heads, executive members, and dedicated party Karyakartas.

The meeting was attended by the Honourable Deputy Speaker, APLA, Shri Kardo Nyigyor; Honourable District President, Shri Moba Taipodia; Honourable ZPMs, Shri Tadam Zirdo and Shri Jomko Kena; Respected District In-charge, Smty. Yamang Modi; District General Secretary, Shri Jarchok Buchi; Mandal President, 28-Likabali, Shri Chinya Taju; Mandal President, 36-Nari-Koyu, Shri Token Kobo; State Council Member, Shri Dani Buchi; Shri Kage Dabi, State General Secretary, Kisan Morcha; district executive members, Vice Presidents, all Morcha heads, and dedicated party Karyakartas.

During the meeting, the Mandal Presidents of both 28-Likabali and 36-Nari-Koyu, along with the respective Morcha heads, presented their activity reports covering the period from 2025 to date in 2026. The presentations highlighted organisational activities, grassroots engagement, and the efforts undertaken to strengthen the party at the district and Mandal levels.

The Margdarshan address was delivered by the Honourable Deputy Speaker, APLA, Shri Kardo Nyigyor, who emphasised the importance of dedication, sincerity, discipline, and commitment in serving the party and the people. He also highlighted the transformative changes brought about by the present government under the dynamic leadership of the Honourable Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi, and encouraged party workers to continue working with renewed energy and a strong sense of responsibility.

The Political Resolution was proposed by District General Secretary Shri Jarchok Buchi and seconded by Shri Goli Doye, Secretary, BJP Lowersiang, with the support of the members present.

The meeting reaffirmed the collective commitment of the BJP Lowersiang District Unit to strengthening the party organisation, enhancing coordination among Mandals and Morchas, and working tirelessly for the welfare and development of the people.

Together, with dedication, unity, and commitment, we continue to move forward in the service of the nation and our people.

Today ie,on 07Oct,2026 Under Seva Sankalp Abhiyan, a Mashal Rally was organised from the BJP District Office, Likabali, to the Likabali Circuit House. Upon reaching the Circuit House, the live telecast address of Hon’ble National President Shri Nitin Nabin Ji and Hon;ble PM Shri Narendra Modi Ji, was witnessed by the Karyakartas of BJP, Lower Siang District. The Karyakartas enthusiastically listened the whole deliberation.

As another significant part of the programme, the foundation stone for the “Jyoti Chowk “ was laid at Upper Colony by Shri Kardo Nyigyor Ji, Hon’ble Deputy Speaker, APLA. marking an important step towards further strengthening the spirit and message of the Seva Jyoti Yatra.

The programme witnessed enthusiastic and active participation from the general public, District office bearers, Morcha office bearers, Mahila Morcha members, elected representative, ,ZPC/ ZPMs/, GPCs, GPMs, Senior party leaders District & Mandal Convenors,Co-convenors and other public representatives.

The successful conduct of the programme reflected the collective participation and commitment of the BJP organisation and the general public towards the objectives of the Seva Sankalp Abhiyan 2026.

On the eve of Gandhi Jayanti, the Lowersiang District BJP Unit organised a Swachh Abhiyan at the Main Market, Likabali, followed by a cake-cutting ceremony at the BJP Office, Likabali.

As part of the programme, party leaders and karyakartas actively participated in the cleanliness drive, reaffirming the importance of cleanliness and civic responsibility inspired by the ideals of Mahatma Gandhi.

During the programme, discussions were also held regarding the upcoming activities under the Seva Sankalp Abhiyan. The meeting focused on planning and coordination to ensure that all forthcoming programmes are organised smoothly and successfully with active participation from the party karyakartas
The programme reflected the spirit of seva, cleanliness and collective responsibility, in keeping with the ideals of Mahatma Gandhi.

Ashirwaad Ka Diya | Seva Sankalp Abhiyan 2026

As part of the Seva Sankalp Abhiyan 2026, the BJP Lowersiang District Unit organised the “Ashirwaad Ka Diya” programme at Kardu Taipodia District Hospital, Likabali, by lighting 1,000 diyas and offering prayers for the good health, well-being and long life of our Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji.

The programme was attended by District President Shri Moba Taipodia Ji, Shri Jarchok Buchi, District General Secretary, Shri Chinya Taju, Mandal President, district Morcha heads, Mahila Morcha members, party Karyakartas, beneficiaries of various government welfare schemes, and eminent personalities of Likabali.

Among the distinguished personalities present were Shri Gumke Riba, Senior Leader and former BJP President, Lowersiang; Smty Nyater Taipodia, Women Leader and Social Worker; and Shri Koi Taipodia, Retired Principal, GHSS Likabali.

The programme witnessed a beautiful expression of collective prayers and goodwill, as 1,000 diyas illuminated the premises of the District Hospital. BJP Karyakartas across the Lowersiang District also participated in the initiative by lighting diyas at their respective homes and offering prayers for the good health and long life of our Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji.

The Lower Siang District BJP Unit celebrated the 76th birthday of Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji. The programme was organised by the BJP Mahila Morcha, with the participation of party members and supporters.
The occasion marked the Prime Minister’s birth anniversary with various activities and a gathering of party workers in Lower Siang.
