NZTE東京チームは、Beachhead Advisors（BHA）を招いたラウンドテーブルセッションを開催しました。BHAは、ニュージーランド企業の国際展開を支援するNZTEの専門家ネットワークであり、現役の経営者や業界リーダーに加え、第一線で活躍された経験を持つ元経営者や専門家など、多様なバックグラウンドを持つアドバイザーで構成されています。今回のセッションでは、参加者が市場動向やビジネス上の課題についての洞察を共有し、今後のニュージーランド企業の成長支援に向けて意見交換しました。セッションの途中には、次期駐日ニュージーランド大使であるキャロリン・シュワルガー大使も参加し、参加者との交流や意見交換が行われました。

The NZTE Tokyo team recently hosted a Round Table session with its Beachhead Advisors (BHAs). BHA is one of NZTE's key assets for supporting New Zealand companies in their international growth. It brings together advisors from diverse backgrounds, including current business executives, industry leaders, and former senior executives and specialists with extensive commercial experience. During the session, participants exchanged views on market trends and business challenges, sharing insights on how best to support the growth of New Zealand companies. Partway through the session, New Zealand's Ambassador-designate to Japan, Carolyn Schwalger, joined the discussion and engaged in an exchange of views with the participants.

NZTE（ニュージーランド貿易経済促進庁）は、2026年6月に日本全国で実施した「Pour Yourself a Glass of New Zealand」キャンペーンが無事終了したことをお知らせします。
2025年の3万杯超から、2026年は5万杯超へ。キャンペーンはさらに成長し、より多くの日本の皆さまにニュージーランドワインを楽しんでいただく機会をお届けすることができました。
今年は、ニュージーランドのワイナリー30社、輸入元22社、全国300店舗以上のレストランが参加し、消費者キャンペーンには1,684件の応募が寄せられました。
8月24日には、キャンペーンパートナー、参加レストラン、輸入元、受賞者の皆さまをニュージーランド大使館にお迎えし、今年の成果を振り返るとともに、素晴らしい取り組みをされた皆さまを表彰しました。
ニュージーランド航空、食べログをはじめとするキャンペーンパートナーの皆さま、ワイナリー、輸入元、参加レストラン、そしてニュージーランドワインを楽しんでくださったすべての皆さまに、心より感謝申し上げます。
この勢いを来年以降にもつなげ、さらに多くの皆さまにニュージーランドワインの魅力をお届けしていきたいと思います。

New Zealand Trade and Enterprise (NZTE) is pleased to announce the successful completion of the 2026 “Pour Yourself a Glass of New Zealand” campaign, held across Japan in June.
From more than 30,000 glasses in 2025 to over 50,000 glasses in 2026, the campaign continues to grow, bringing New Zealand wine to more consumers across Japan.
This year, 30 New Zealand wineries, 22 importers and more than 300 restaurant locations nationwide participated in the campaign, with 1,684 consumer entries received.
On 24 August, we welcomed campaign partners, participating restaurants, importers and award recipients to the New Zealand Embassy in Tokyo to celebrate this year’s achievements and recognise the outstanding contributions of this year’s award winners.
A huge thank you to Air New Zealand, Tabelog, our campaign partners, wineries, importers, participating restaurants and everyone who enjoyed a glass of New Zealand wine for making the 2026 campaign such a success.
We look forward to building on this momentum and bringing even more New Zealand wine experiences to consumers across Japan.

【New Zealand Study Abroad Fair 2026】
The New Zealand Study Abroad Fair 2026 will be held on Sunday, 13 September 2026.
Representatives from more than 43 New Zealand education institutions will travel to Japan. These include primary, intermediate and secondary schools, universities, vocational education institutions, and English language schools.
Visitors will have the opportunity to speak directly with representatives from each institution and attend seminars about studying in New Zealand.
We hope you will take advantage of this opportunity to learn more about studying in New Zealand.

フィオナ・アムンセンは、ニュージーランド出身のアーティスト兼作家であり、アジア太平洋地域、米国、ヨーロッパ各地で作品を発表してきました。2026年の「コーファイ・レジデンシー・プログラム」の一環として、8月28日（金）午後7時より東京にて、レジデンシー終了を記念した特別プレゼンテーションを開催します。
「コーファイ・レジデンシー」は、ニュージーランド主導による写真家の専門能力開発を支援するユニークな賞であり、ニュージーランドから日本に向けてのプログラムは今回が初の試みとなります。このパートナーシップは、オークランド・フェスティバル・オブ・フォトグラフィーと、日本のT3フォトフェスティバル東京との間で結ばれています。

Fiona Amundsen is a New Zealand artist and writer who has exhibited throughout the Asia Pacific region, United States and Europe. As part of her 2026 Kowhai Residency Programme, she will hold an exclusive residency closing presentation on Friday 28 August 7pm in Tokyo.

The Kōwhai Residency is a unique NZ-led photographic professional development Award for a NZ photographer residency programme in Japan, and a 1st of its kind to be established from New Zealand to Japan. The partnership is between Auckland Festival of Photography and T3 Photo Festival Tokyo, Japan.

🏫次期駐日ニュージーランド大使のキャロリン・シュワルガーは、来日後初の公式行事として福岡を訪れました。次期大使は福岡女学院高等学校への交換留学経験があり、福岡には特別な思い入れがあります。
訪問中、彼女は高島宗一郎福岡市長、九州経済連合会の池辺和弘会長、およびニュージーランド名誉領事の倉富純男氏🤝と会談し、九州各地の教育関係者をお招きしたエデュケーション・ニュージーランドのイベントを共催しました📚🌏
今回の訪問は、先日の熊本での地震🇯🇵を受けて、ニュージーランドが日本への連帯を示し、ニュージーランド政府としていつでも支援の用意があることを改めてお伝えする機会となりました。
明年ニュージーランドと日本が外交関係樹立75周年🇳🇿🇯🇵を迎えるにあたり、両国が今後もこうしたパートナーシップをさらに強化していくことを楽しみにしています。

🏫 Almost 40 years after first coming to Fukuoka as a student in 1987, Ambassador-Designate Carolyn Schwalger returned to the city for her first official engagement 🇳🇿🇯🇵

She returned to Fukuoka Girls High School 🎓, where she studied as an exchange student, meeting today’s students and staff 👩‍🏫👩‍🎓 and reconnecting with friends from her own time at the school 💛

During the visit, she also met Fukuoka Mayor Soichiro Takashima, Kyushu Economic Federation Chairman Kazuhiro Ikebe and New Zealand Honorary Consul Sumio Kuratomi 🤝, and co-hosted an Education New Zealand event bringing together education partners from across Kyushu 📚🌏

The visit also provided an opportunity for New Zealand to show solidarity with Japan following the earthquake in Kumamoto 🇯🇵 and reiterate the offer of support conveyed by the New Zealand Government, should assistance be needed 🤝

As New Zealand and Japan look ahead to 75 years of diplomatic relations in 2027 🇳🇿🇯🇵, we look forward to continuing to strengthen these longstanding connections and partnerships 🌏✨

英語の授業でお会いしましょう――ニュージーランド大使館では8月4日、JETプログラム（語学指導等を行う外国青年招致事業）により来日したニュージーランドの若者たちを歓迎するレセプションを開催しました。
JETプログラムへの参加者は、英語の指導助手などとして日本各地へと赴任します。レセプションでは当大使館で働くニュージーランド政府各機関の職員たちと懇談する機会を得ました。今回来日した参加者全員の新しい職場での活躍を願っています。

The Embassy recently welcomed newly arrived Japan Exchange and Teaching Programme (JET) participants from New Zealand and shared advice and information that should come in handy during their time in Japan. The participants hailed from all over New Zealand and have been posted far and wide across Japan.
