This wellness challenge is designed to encourage healthier living, teamwork and community spirit.

The National Insurance Corporation (NIC) is reminding employers of the need to comply with the submission of their monthly remittance Form C3. This is essential for maintaining accurate records and ensuring that employees receive their entitled benefits without delay.

Employers are also reminded that if there were periods with no employment, they must submit a Cessation of Employment form (Form COE 1) to account for any gaps in contributions.

In cases where the business has ceased operations, a Closure of Business (Form COB 2) must be completed and submitted to the NIC.

The National Insurance Corporation (NIC) wishes to clarify the requirements governing eligibility for Sickness Benefit.

The NIC wishes to remind contributors that sickness benefits will not be paid where claims reference social, personal, or family circumstances of a contributor rather than his/her specific disease or disablement.

The NIC remains committed to determining all claims fairly in accordance with the Act and Regulations governing the Corporation.
