𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐜𝐡, 𝐄𝐧𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐆𝐥𝐨𝐛𝐚𝐥 𝐕𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲 !
We are pleased to share an important academic milestone as selected high-quality dissertations from the first batch of the Master of Education (SLQF Level 10) programme have been submitted to the SLIIT Library for inclusion in the institutional research repository.
The completion of the first full SLQF Level 10 cycle, together with the preservation of selected dissertations in the institutional repository, represents a significant achievement for the programme and its graduates. We are also delighted that several graduates from the first batch have progressed to doctoral studies and continue to develop their research towards scholarly publication.
Senior Librarian, Ms Pushpamala Perera, highlighted the importance of preserving valuable scholarly work in a digital research archive, enabling research outputs to become more accessible, discoverable, and visible to a wider audience. Such initiatives support the dissemination and recognition of institutional research and contribute to strengthening SLIIT’s research visibility and academic reputation.
This achievement was made possible with the valued support and encouragement of the Prof. Rahula Attalage (Pro Vice-Chancellor - Academic), Dr. Malitha Wijesundara (Pro Vice-Chancellor - Humanities and Sciences), Dr. Virajith Gamage (Assistant Professor – School of Education) Mr. Lakmal Eranda ( Senior Lecturer and MEd Coordinator ) , Faculty of Graduate Studies, SLIIT Library, and Faculty of Humanities and Sciences.
