与诗巫市议会主席丁永豪一同拜访砂拉越旅游部长 Abdul Karim Rahman Hamzah，就诗巫婆罗洲文化节相关筹备工作进行交流与讨论。

婆罗洲文化节不仅是诗巫的重要品牌活动，更是展示在地文化与多元特色的重要平台。希望通过各方配合与完善规划，把活动办得更有品质、更具吸引力，让更多人认识诗巫、走进诗巫。

Bersama Pengerusi Majlis Perbandaran Sibu, mengadakan kunjungan hormat kepada Menteri Pelancongan Sarawak Abdul Karim Rahman Hamzah bagi mengadakan perbincangan berkenaan persiapan Pesta Kebudayaan Borneo Sibu.

Pesta Kebudayaan Borneo bukan sahaja merupakan acara jenama penting bagi Sibu, malah menjadi platform untuk mengetengahkan budaya tempatan serta kepelbagaian masyarakat. Diharapkan melalui kerjasama semua pihak dan perancangan yang lebih tersusun, penganjuran acara ini dapat dipertingkatkan dari segi kualiti dan daya tarikan, sekali gus menarik lebih ramai pengunjung untuk mengenali dan datang ke Sibu.

【RTP Project｜提升后洋马路工程】

后洋路这段马路，之前的路况相信不少居民都有感受。

现在重新铺好之后，整条路顺很多，开车、骑摩托都会更安心。道路是每天都在用，但往往也是最容易被忽略的。

所以只要有机会，我都会尽量把这些基础设施一步一步做好，让大家出入更顺畅。

【RTP Project｜Road Upgrading Works at Jalan Au Yong】

Many residents would be familiar with the previous condition of this stretch of Jalan Au Yong.

Now that it has been resurfaced, the road is much smoother, making it safer for both drivers and motorcyclists. Roads are something we use every day, yet they are often overlooked.

That’s why, whenever possible, I will continue to improve these basic infrastructures step by step, so that everyone can travel more smoothly and conveniently.

【RTP Project｜提升清真寺的建筑物工程】

在 Rejang Park 的 Surau Darul Taqwa，这次主要是针对整体环境做改善。

现在来到现场，可以明显感觉到清真寺前方的空地的沥青路面已经更干净、整齐，也更好使用了。

这种提升不只是看起来不一样，而是大家在用的时候，会觉得更舒服、更方便。

【Projek RTP｜Naik taraf kemudahan surau】

Surau Darul Taqwa di Taman Rajang kali ini memberi fokus kepada penambahbaikan persekitaran keseluruhan.

Kini apabila datang ke tapak, jelas dapat dilihat kawasan lapang di hadapan surau telah diturap semula dengan jalan berturap (asfalt) yang lebih kemas, bersih dan selesa digunakan.

Penambahbaikan ini bukan sekadar perubahan dari segi rupa, tetapi juga memberi keselesaan dan kemudahan kepada pengguna.

在目前的房地产市场运作中，booking form 的使用已经相当普遍，但相关制度仍然存在一些不够清晰的地方，在一定程度上也可能让购房者承担不必要的风险。

随着司法层面对购房者权益的保障逐步加强，相关政策与制度也有必要适时检视与优化，确保能够跟上实际发展的需要。

我们认为，可以通过循序渐进的方式来完善相关机制，包括规范 booking fee、提升交易过程的透明度，以及优化从预约到签署买卖合约的流程时间。这不仅有助于更好保障人民权益，也有助于提升市场信心，让房地产市场更健康、有序地发展。

In the current property market environment, the use of booking forms has become quite common. However, the relevant regulatory framework is still not fully clear, which may expose homebuyers to unnecessary risks.

As the judiciary continues to strengthen the protection of homebuyers’ rights and interests, it is timely for relevant policies and systems to be reviewed and improved to keep pace with current developments.

We believe that improvements can be made in a gradual and structured manner, including regulating booking fees, enhancing transparency in transactions, and streamlining the process from booking to the signing of the sale and purchase agreement. This will not only better safeguard the interests of the people, but also help strengthen market confidence and promote a healthier and more orderly property sector.

关于近期大家关注的相关发展项目课题，我这边也根据有关单位的回函了解目前进展。

当局早前已向发展商发出指示，要求全面遵守相关条例，包括维修管理费及基金收费需按照规定执行，同时也必须停止不符合现行条例的收费方式，并依据单位份额来计算管理费。

目前，相关单位已着手准备进一步执法行动，不过仍需等待法律方面的审核与批准，因此暂时还未正式执行。

此外，项目的分层图仍在处理当中，当局也会持续监督整个管理运作，确保符合现行条例。

整体而言，相关事项仍在跟进与协调阶段，尚未有最终定案。我会继续关注进展，并与相关单位保持沟通，推动问题逐步解决。

Berkenaan isu projek pembangunan yang menjadi perhatian baru-baru ini, saya juga telah meneliti perkembangan terkini berdasarkan maklum balas daripada pihak berkuasa yang berkaitan.

Pihak berkuasa sebelum ini telah mengeluarkan arahan kepada pihak pemaju supaya mematuhi sepenuhnya peruntukan undang-undang sedia ada, termasuk pelaksanaan caj penyenggaraan dan caruman dana yang perlu mengikut ketetapan yang ditetapkan. Pada masa yang sama, kaedah kutipan yang tidak selaras dengan peraturan semasa juga perlu dihentikan, dan pengiraan hendaklah dibuat berdasarkan unit syer.

Pada masa ini, pihak berkaitan sedang menyediakan tindakan penguatkuasaan lanjut, namun masih menunggu semakan dan kelulusan dari segi perundangan sebelum ia dilaksanakan secara rasmi.

Selain itu, pelan strata bagi projek tersebut masih dalam proses pengeluaran, dan pihak berkuasa akan terus memantau pengurusan keseluruhan bagi memastikan ia mematuhi peruntukan undang-undang yang berkuat kuasa.

Secara keseluruhan, perkara ini masih dalam peringkat pemantauan dan penyelarasan, dan belum ada keputusan muktamad. Saya akan terus mengikuti perkembangan serta berhubung dengan pihak berkaitan untuk memastikan isu ini dapat diselesaikan secara berperingkat.

【RTP Project｜提升人行走道SJK(C) Taman Rajang & Traffic Garden】

这条在诗巫拉让小学和交通公园之间的人行走道，以前很多人都有反映，不太好走，尤其是下雨的时候更不方便。

现在已经完成提升，不只是路面重新做好，也加上了有盖走道。对学生、家长还有附近居民来说，真的实用很多。

有时候一条小小的走道，影响的却是每天来来回回的人。

把这些细节做好，其实就是在让生活更轻松一点。

【RTP Project｜Upgrading the pedestrian walkway SJK(C) Taman Rajang & Traffic Garden】

This pathway between SJK(C) Taman Rajang and the Traffic Garden used to be a concern for many, especially during rainy days when it was not easy to walk through.

Now that the upgrade is completed, the walkway is not only resurfaced but also covered, making it much more practical for students, parents, and nearby residents.

Sometimes, a simple pathway makes a big difference to people who use it every day.

Improving these small details is really about making daily life a little easier.

【Influencer Training & Competition Plan | Richard Lee】

Had a discussion with Richard Lee on the upcoming influencer training camp and competition to be held during the Gawai festive period.

This initiative goes beyond just a competition, it also includes training and content creation, with the aim of nurturing more local creators while promoting Sarawak’s tourism.

If done well, it can showcase Sibu’s unique identity through short-form videos and help more people discover what our town has to offer.

The combination of youth creativity and local culture is truly a powerful one 💡

【RTP Project｜Zion Methodist Church 卫理公会锡安堂提升完成】

之前来现场的时候，还在施工中，到处都是架子。现在再来看，整体环境已经整理得很整齐、很舒服，入口也更完善了。

这次的提升，主要是让空间更安全、也更方便大家使用。不管是聚会、活动，还是平时进出，都会更顺畅。

对我来说，这不只是完成一项工程，也是尽一份心力，为主做工，让这个空间更适合大家一起聚集与敬拜。

RTP 的重点，就是把这些真正影响生活的地方做好。

【RTP Project｜Zion Methodist Church Upgrade Completed】

When I first visited the site, it was still under construction, with scaffolding everywhere. Now, the whole place is much neater, more comfortable, and the entrance has been clearly improved.

This upgrade focuses on making the space safer and more convenient for everyone, whether for gatherings, events, or daily use.

For me, this is not just about completing a project, but also doing my part in service to the Lord, making the space more suitable for people to gather and worship.

The focus of RTP is simple: to improve the places that truly impact daily life.

【RTP Project｜Xi An Park 锡安公园提升完成】

这项位于 Lorong Merdeka 13 的锡安公园提升工程，RTP project 之一。

从一开始的规划、申请到施工，一步一步跟进，现在看到公园焕然一新，真的很有成就感。

新的设施、更完善的环境，希望可以让附近居民多一个舒服、安全的休闲空间。不管是带孩子来玩，还是傍晚出来走走，都更方便了。

RTP 不只是做工程，更重要的是把大家日常生活用得到的地方，一点一点改善好。

【RTP Project｜Xi An Park Upgrade Completed】

This upgrade at Xi An Park, located at Lorong Merdeka 13, is one of the RTP projects.

From the initial planning and application to the construction phase, we followed through step by step. Seeing the park now fully upgraded is truly satisfying.

With new facilities and a more complete environment, I hope this park provides nearby residents with a more comfortable and safer space to relax, whether it’s bringing children out to play or taking an evening walk.

RTP is not just about carrying out projects, but more importantly about improving the everyday spaces people use, step by step.

【Apollo区的基层领袖见面交流】

了解当地的一些情况和想法，接下来他们也有一些计划，包括飞镖比赛、社区聚餐等活动。希望可以带动更多年轻人参与。

我们也讨论到如何更好地接触马来社区，特别是年轻一代，这方面接下来会继续加强。

基层的声音，对我来说一直都很重要，我也会持续跟进。

【Engagement with Grassroots Leaders in Apollo Area】

Had a discussion with grassroots leaders from the Apollo area to better understand the local situation and their perspectives. They also shared some upcoming plans, including a darts tournament and community gatherings, aimed at encouraging greater youth participation.

We also discussed ways to better engage with the Malay community, especially the younger generation, and this is something we will continue to strengthen moving forward.

Grassroots voices have always been important to me, and I will continue to follow up closely.
