Otjiwarongo MUN

Otjiwarongo MUN As a Local Authority our mandate is to develop the town and uplift its community through the provision of basic services.

Otjiwarongo is considered as one of the oldest towns in Namibia. The town is located in central Namibia. It forms the route axis for trade and cargo movements from the Walvis Bay port to the rest of southern African countries. Otjiwarongo literally is the fork in the routes to the east, north and south of the country as well as across the border. Internationally Otjiwarongo is known as the Cheetah

capital of the world and is home to some of the biggest cattle-breeding companies in Namibia. As a Local Authority our mandate is to develop the town and uplift its community through the provision of basic services, the promotion of the town as trade hub and attracting investors.
