तनहुँ जलविद्युत आयोजनाको सामुदायिक विकास कार्यक्रमअन्तर्गत आयोजनाको आर्थिक सहयोगमा ऋषिङ गाउँपालिका–१, गैराखुदीस्थित श्री दीपक माध्यमिक विद्यालयको नयाँ भवन निर्माण हुने भएको छ। भवनको शिलान्यास ऋषिङ गाउँपालिकाका उपाध्यक्ष श्री गिनु माया थापा, वडा नं. १ का वडाध्यक्ष श्री कुशबहादुर आले र विद्यालयका प्रधानाध्यापक श्री टेकबहादुर थापाले संयुक्त रूपमा २०८३ भदौ ३१ बुधबार आयोजित कार्यक्रममा गर्नुभयो। शौचालय सुविधासहितको दुईतले विद्यालय भवनमा छ वटा कक्षाकोठा रहनेछन्। भवन निर्माणका लागि २०८३ असार २६ गते व्यास–२, दमौली, तनहुँस्थित बेलु निर्माण सेवासँग ठेक्का सम्झौता गरिएको थियो। सम्झौताको कुल रकम रु. १,२०,६८,७२३ (मूल्य अभिवृद्धि करसहित) रहेको छ। भवन निर्माण कार्य २०८४ पुस २५ गतेभित्र सम्पन्न गर्ने गरी निर्माण अवधि तोकिएको छ। छ।
नयाँ विद्यालय भवन नेपाल सरकारका विद्यालय भवनसम्बन्धी प्रचलित मापदण्ड, डिजाइन तथा प्राविधिक विशिष्टताअनुसार निर्माण गरिनेछ। भवनले विद्यार्थीहरूका लागि सुरक्षित, विपद्–प्रतिरोधी तथा गुणस्तरीय सिकाइ वातावरण उपलब्ध गराउन सहयोग गर्ने अपेक्षा गरिएको छ। यस पहलले आयोजनाको प्रभाव क्षेत्रभित्र सामाजिक पूर्वाधार सुधार तथा दिगो सामुदायिक विकासमा योगदान पुर्याउने आयोजनाको प्रतिबद्धतालाई प्रतिबिम्बित गर्दछ। भवन निर्माण सम्पन्न भएपछि आयोजना प्रभावित समुदायका विद्यार्थीहरूका लागि थप व्यवस्थित तथा गुणस्तरीय शैक्षिक पूर्वाधार उपलब्ध हुनेछ। यसबाट अनुकूल सिकाइ वातावरण सिर्जना हुनुका साथै आसपासका समुदायको दीर्घकालीन शैक्षिक तथा सामाजिक–आर्थिक विकासमा समेत योगदान पुग्ने अपेक्षा गरिएको छ। आयोजनाको आर्थिक सहयोगमा यसअघि व्यास नगरपालिका–५, बेनीपाटनस्थित श्री पराशर माध्यमिक विद्यालय तथा भिमाद नगरपालिका–५, ऋषिङपाटनस्थित श्री दीपक माध्यमिक विद्यालयका भवन निर्माण गरिएका छन्। सामुदायिक विकास कार्यक्रमअन्तर्गत आयोजनाको आर्थिक सहयोगमा शिक्षा, स्वास्थ्य, खानेपानी तथा पूर्वाधारलगायतका क्षेत्रमा हालसम्म ९८ वटा योजना सम्पन्न भएका छन् भने ९ वटा योजना निर्माणाधीन/कार्यान्वयनको क्रममा रहेका छन्।
A new school building for Shree Deepak Secondary School, located at Gairakhudi, Rishing Rural Municipality–1, is being constructed with financial support from the Tanahu Hydropower Project under its Community Development Programme (CDP). The foundation stone for the building was jointly laid by Vice-Chairperson of Rishing Rural Municipality, Mrs. Ginu Maya Thapa; Ward Chairperson of Ward No. 1, Mr. Kush Bahadur Ale; and Headmaster of the school, Mr. Tek Bahadur Thapa, at a ceremony held on Wednesday, 16 September 2026.
The two-storey school building will have six classrooms and toilet facilities. A construction contract was signed with Belu Nirman Sewa, Vyas–2, Damauli, Tanahu, on 09 July 2026 . The total contract value is NRs. 12,068,723, including VAT, with the construction scheduled for completion by 10 January 2028.
The new school building will be constructed in accordance with the applicable Government of Nepal standards, designs, and technical specifications for school buildings. The facility is expected to provide students with a safe, disaster-resilient, and quality learning environment.
The initiative reflects the Project's commitment to improving social infrastructure and supporting sustainable community development in the Project's area of influence. Upon completion, the building will provide improved and better-organized educational infrastructure for students from project-affected communities. It is expected to contribute to a conducive learning environment as well as the long-term educational and socio-economic development of the surrounding communities.
With financial support from the Project, school buildings have previously been constructed at Shree Parashar Secondary School in Benipatan, Vyas Municipality–5, and Shree Deepak Secondary School in Rishingpatan, Bhimad Municipality–5.
Under the Community Development Programme, a total of 98 projects in education, health, drinking water, infrastructure, and other sectors have been completed with financial support from the Project, while 9 projects are currently under implementation.
