Congratulations to Yashu Dhakal and Eva GC, who proudly represented Mainland at the New Zealand Junior Badminton Team Championships in Palmerston North during the school holidays. Held over four days, the tournament brought together teams from across New Zealand. Competing in Division Two, Yashu's team achieved an outstanding third-place finish out of 11 teams, while Eva's team narrowly missed out on a medal, finishing fourth after a closely contested playoff for third place. Congratulations to both students on their outstanding performances.

Congratulations to Scarlett Lye (Year 10) on an outstanding achievement!

Scarlett recently represented Visionary Dance Studios at the prestigious New Zealand Dance Awards, competing against some of the country's top dance schools.

As part of seven intermediate and senior competition teams, Scarlett helped her studio achieve an incredible five National Championship titles, along with a runner-up finish, a third placing, and the award for Best Jazz Team. Three of Visionary's teams were also selected to compete for the coveted NZ Top Troupe title, with Scarlett's Senior/Intermediate Jazz Team finishing Runner-Up Top Troupe in New Zealand.

To top off an amazing season, Scarlett's Senior/Intermediate Jazz Team has also earned a nomination to compete at PACANZ, New Zealand's largest performing arts competition, to be held in Palmerston North this October.

What an incredible achievement, Scarlett! We are so proud of your dedication, talent, and the way you represent Lincoln High School. We wish you all the very best for PACANZ!

Our Year 10A Netball team held their nerve in a nail-biting battle against Ellesmere, coming away with an incredible 23–22 victory! 💙❤️
