Wellbeing and how the brain works.. our class knows so much about the brain!!! We’ve even made brains.. we need to protect so much of our brain… check it out. Thanks to Mrs Fraser who started this learning last week.

Do these look familiar? Now back on display from Kaiapoi Library.

Here at Ōuruhia the seniors have been looking at Parabolic Curves and Coordinates. Thanks Tomo from VIP Trade for supporting with the wood/nails for our designs. Kā Pūtahi have been looking at an artist for their designs. There are some BIG schools who are also entering their artworks too - linked to math design.

The juniors and their designs are also on display now in the admin/ office block.

We hope you have a wonderful day and get to connect with your family. If you are one who likes to celebrate Father’s Day we are wishing you all a wonderful day. You may have a role model that is that special person in your family.

Our students carried out activities in class on Friday in Kā Pūtahi in Waimakariri to give to a special person on Sunday.
You can see Mrs Fraser supported the youngest students and they have made wonderful sloths in a tree (fathers supporting their children). Mrs Shepherd asked the senior students to write a poem to a special person. That poem was then placed inside a card which they crafted based on a ‘you rock’ theme. We hope

What a lovely surprise walking into this today. My favourite - Russian fudge and Miss H made it in her thermomix!
