Welcome to our office - Haere Mai, come and check out the wall display from Ōuruhia Kā Pūtahi class. Mrs Fraser has been busy! There are lots of people on the buses. Can you spot everyone? Here at Ōuruhia School. Our students have chosen their drivers too!

Another great first half for our Belfast Year 6 Cobras against HSOB Year 6 Thorne. Two early tries by the mighty Cobras, HSOB fought back attacking with more tries.. Half time at Hagley Field 2 today! Lots of Belfast support on the sideline. A bit of digging deep needed for the second half. A couple of great tries just before the final whistle.. way to go.

Thank you to all our families who donated to the local Kaiapoi food bank today for our own clothes day. Look at the call given for such a small School yet mighty! Thank you - ‘Community’ is our values curriculum this term.

Thank you ://www.wellbeingnc.org.nz/food-support/ we were able to deliver our grocery items! They were super pleased with our donation. We got a tour of the foodbank and our children got an opportunity to see how it is sorted, the kind of items given and requested for families and we met the volunteers. There are incredible people who volunteer and donate food to this cause. Thank you for giving us a tour. We were impressed at the local businesses and farmers/ butchers who also give to the freezer section. Now we have lots to write about tomorrow in class for some of our senior students.
