❄️ Bring Cash, some stall holders will have eftpos but majority will be cash, and the raffle is cash.

⭐️ Speaking of raffles, we will be raffling off an incredible hamper of artisan arts and crafts generously donated by our smallholders. As well as an Ōpuke Thermal Pools and Spa voucher, a Ruralco - Your Farming Co-op voucher and a gift pack from Rumour Has It (donated by Proseed Processing Ltd).

❄️ groundcontrolespresso & Hooke's Donuts will be there to keep you warm.

⭐️ Preorders for A Lauriston Harvest , our cookbook fundraiser, will be available on the day. You will be able to have a sneak peek of some pages of the book we have been working so hard on and pop your name down to secure your copy.

❄️ It will be toasty warm inside the hall so come on down, support the amazing stallholders and our school.

⭐️ N E W E X H I B I T I O N ⭐️

We are excited to host vibrant local artist Bobby Kurb for the month of July.

Bobby Kurb is an artist who never asks for permission. Born in Auckland and raised in England he swapped the ocean breeze for grey brick, and never quite forgave the move.

His first memory of making art was creating bird-men in top hats with wheels for feet at age five, and hasn’t stopped since. Told he’d never make it as an artist, he took that personally.

Today, Bobby’s work lives in private and public collections across the UK, USA, Europe, New Zealand, South Korea, Egypt and Australia. He’s shown in public galleries, independent studios, and once unknowingly had a solo wall in a national museum.

His art doesn’t whisper - it roars.

Each series pulls from real life - grief, routine, rebellion, violence, vulnerability. Perfect from afar. Fractured up close. Just like people.

This month we are delighted to have the Temuka Art Guild showcasing their work.

The Guild was established in 2011 with artists exhibiting a variety of mediums from pastels, watercolour, batic, oil and sculptures.

⭐️ N E W E X H I B I T I O N ⭐️

Our May exhibition is the Art from the Heart art group - nine dedicated artists that meet weekly with renowned artist Rob McDowell.

The exhibition features a range of mediums from oils, acrylic and mixed media, and reflects the shared inspiration and mutual learning through our unique styles developed.

On from Saturday 1st May to Tuesday 26th May.

The artists will host an opening tomorrow at the gallery (Saturday 2nd May) from 12pm to 2pm. All welcome.
