💙 Thank you to Lucie 💙

Lucie has been a committee member for a few years now and currently holds the Toy Buyer role. This role is less glamorous than it sounds, as Lucie’s husband would attest to given that their garage has been taken over by incoming toy library toys since March!

Lucie is pictured checking the details of a toy that she is taking out to organise for repair, another vital role that keeps our toy library ticking.

Thank you Lucie for everything you do for Methven Toy Library, we couldn’t do it without you!

A massive thank you to Hamish from stoddartengineering for donating a beautiful custom safety gate for our toy library! Hamish came and took measurements, designed a gate to meet our requirements, provided drawings for council consent, and built and installed the gate all at no cost to Methven Toy Library. We are very grateful for your time and effort in helping to keep our tamariki safe.

🌏 The Magic Adventure Globe 🌏

An underrated gem hiding in our library…you don’t realise what an amazing resource this is until you really have time to explore it at home. Learn about countries, animals, flags, languages, even currencies! This globe also features interactive quiz games. As much fun for grown ups as it is for kids, the whole family will be enthralled!

Come and check out our new Bristle Block set which has just hit the shelves. One of the toys which was donated by Rakaia Toy Library this is a great option for creative building as the blocks can connect in many different directions. Hire this set for FREE as toy of the week from now until next Tuesday!
