✨🙌😊📚Many thanks to our student leaders who spent the day showing prospective students around our school at today's Experience Nelson College Day.

✨🙌😊📚A warm welcome from our Principal Richard Washington, a brief history lesson and a grand tour of the school that included gatecrashing classes mid-flow, gave our future little brothers a lot to go on, and a lot to think about.

✨🙌😊📚To all the Mums and Dads, whether or not you decide Nelson College is the right fit for you, we hope your sons had an enjoyable experience today but of course we hope they'll join us in 2027! We've been in the business of educating boys for around 170 years - you might say we have it down! 🤣

😊🎯💙You'll also have your own chance to visit on Saturday 8th Aug, where we'll be welcoming families for our Open Day from 1-3pm.

Thanks to The Tasman Mako who dropped in this week to impart some pearls of wisdom to our young players. With 11 Old Boys on the team, this was familiar ground for some of the lads. We appreciate you giving up time to come and inspire the next generation of rugby players. All the best for tonight's game.

A huge thank you to The Nelson Jazz Festival was an incredible event and gave our young musicians some real-world musician experience. So many venues, so many gigs and so many great memories were made. Looking forward to next year! @nelson_college_for_girls

🏉 What a fantastic day of rugby at Nelson College!

It was great to see our U14 and U15 teams kick off their Nelson College season. Seeing great teamwork, adaptability and effort throughout the day.

A massive thank you to our coaches, managers, referees, volunteers, and supporters. We couldn’t do it without you!

Wishing the NZ men's U19 Underwater Hockey team the best of luck as they go into the playoffs over in Turkey. So just a little update: they've played nine games, won eight of those and drew one. WOW! We're so proud of Y13 Isaac Milner and Y12 Toby Dukes who are doing some serious heavy lifting with some top goal-scoring!
