The Wakatipu High School , annual year 10 branches camp , which goes for 12days, has been running for 46 years . The camp has become a ' Rite of passage' for students and pushes many out of their comfort zone . The students participate in rafting, abseiling, hiking, target shooting, and kayaking to name a few activities and this is one of the only camps of its kind still in existence in New Zealand . The Branches Charitable Trust was established in 2009 to ensure the on going viability of the camp , so that our students of the future would still be able to participate in this unique, amazing and life changing opportunity.

Every little bit helps bring down the costs to families of year 10 students heading into Branches Station for the iconic Branches Camp, we couldn't do it without the amazing community we live and learn in.

Tonight the year 10 parents had the great opportunity to listen to the knowledgable duo of Mr Mac and Mr Mosley talk about the upcoming iconic camp in at Branches Station. So much work goes into the organisation of each and every activity that makes up Branches Camp. Awesome to be able to provide some funding to support these students attending the camp.
More information will be coming out to families over the next few days and weeks.

Branches Charitable Trust have been lucky enough to have been accepted into Z Energy's "Good in the Hood" for their amazing fundraising opportunity again this year from 18 August to 14 September.

If you need to fuel up, please call into the great team at Z and drop some tokens in our bin.

Support the youth of the Wakatipu cutting down the costs of Branches Camp, the longest running educational camp under canvas in New Zealand, teaching our children life skills, resilience and shoeing them that they can actually do far more than they thought.
