🌟🐴🧗‍♂️ Another action-packed day at Sunset Primary!

Our tamariki have been out and about making the most of some awesome opportunities today! Some have been rock climbing, others horse riding, and another group spending time with our wonderful kaumātua at the local rest home! ❤️

So much learning, so many new experiences, and plenty of smiles along the way!

Never a dull moment at Sunset Primary! 💛💙

🏉☀️ What a beautiful day for some TOUCH RUGBY!

Our tamariki were absolutely lethal out there today! 🔥💪🏉

But a MASSIVE shout-out to our amazing Sunset whānau who turn up week after week to support our kids! ❤️

The cheering, the yelling, the encouragement, and the way you celebrate BOTH teams is just awesome! 👏👏

That's what it's all about! Good vibes, great sport and an even better whānau supporting our tamariki!

Thank you, whānau! You're absolute legends!

🐐🐐 We're the G.O.A.T. School! 🐐🐐

We already knew Sunset Primary was the G.O.A.T. (Greatest Of All Time) school around… but today we REALLY proved it! 😂

We had a couple of actual goats pop in to hang out with our ākonga, and what a hit they were! 🐐❤️

Not only did they bring plenty of smiles and excitement, but they also sparked some awesome discussions and inspired some AMAZING writing from our tamariki! ✏️📚

Who knew a couple of four-legged visitors could create such fantastic learning opportunities?

Just another day at the G.O.A.T. school! 🐐🌟

🚐🌟 THE STAR WARS VAN IS BACK! 🌟🚐

Kia ora whānau!

Great news! Our Star Wars van will be back up and running as normal from tomorrow morning! 🎉

A massive thank you to Matua Bryan (my dad!), who has kindly offered to drive the van in both the mornings and afternoons while Matua Kirk is away. We really appreciate him stepping in to help our tamariki get to and from school! ❤️

And the reason Matua Bryan couldn't drive today? It's his birthday! 🥳🎂

So if you see him tomorrow, make sure you wish him a big HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

Thanks for your patience, whānau. The Star Wars van is back in action tomorrow! 🚐⭐

🥊 Room 5 Back in the Ring! 🥊

Round 3 at Rotovegas Boxing & Fitness for our Room 5 tamariki, and the fun just keeps coming! 💪🔥

Another awesome session filled with new experiences, plenty of energy, lots of laughs, and opportunities to build confidence, fitness and resilience.

Our tamariki are loving the chance to get out of the classroom, try something different and challenge themselves in a fun, supportive environment.

A massive thank you to the team at Rotovegas Boxing Gym for continuing to give our kids these fantastic opportunities! 🥊👏
