Just a quick note that the Wānaka Toy Library will be closed on Good Friday, but we’ll be open as usual on Saturday.

We’d love to see you then for toy swaps, play, and a catch-up 💛

We’re back open at the Toy Library from Friday, 27 March after our closure for the A&P Show.
Thank you so much for your patience while we were closed. We’re looking forward to welcoming you all back and seeing lots of happy little faces through the doors again.
Come by, return your toys, stock up on some new favourites, and enjoy being back at the library with us. 🧸🚗📚

🌟 Come say hi at the Wānaka A&P Show! 🌟

We’ll be set up in the Plunket area at the show on Friday 13th & Saturday 14th March.
Bring the little ones over for a play break, we’ll have a fun selection of Toy Library toys out, plus a sandpit area for some good old-fashioned digging and delight 🏖️🧸
Pop by, meet the team, and let the kids burn off some show-day energy while you take a breather.

🌾 Toy Library Update – A&P Show Time!🌾

Just a quick update to let you know that we’re out of the tin shed while the Wānaka A&P Show is on.

📦 Toy Library is temporarily closed
📅 We’ll be back from Thursday, 27 March

Thanks so much for your patience while the show takes over the grounds. We can’t wait to welcome you back and get the toys rolling again 🧸🚜💛

If any members are coming down to the toy Library today please remember there is limited access due to Challenge Wanaka.

Access to toy library via event parking on way to holiday park. See you there 🤗 🚂

Remember you can take as many toys as you like so there are less for us to put in storage!

🚜 A&P Show Closure Notice 🎡
Kia ora Toy Library whānau 👋
Our last day open will be Friday 20th February, as we’ll be closing while the A&P Show takes over the Wānaka Showgrounds and Wool Tin Shed.
🎉 Good news though
From now until we close, members are welcome to take as many toys as they like. No limits, no counting, just fill your boot 🚗💨
The fewer toys we need to store, the happier our volunteers (and storage!) will be 😄
Thank you for your understanding and support. We’ll share reopening details once the show packs up and the dust settles.

🌿 Waitangi Weekend – We’re OPEN! 🇳🇿

Good news for families this long weekend. The Wanaka Community Toy Library will be open over this Waitangi Weekend 🎉
With the annual closure for the Wanaka show, we feel families in the community need more access!  ask about renting more toys than usual over the A&P Show closure time.
That means you can:
🧸 Swap out some toys
🚗 Keep little hands busy over the long weekend
😊 Enjoy one less thing to plan
Pop in, say hello, and stock up on fun for the days ahead.
