Tender Notice – Port Moresby Building Improvements – Marie Stopes PNG.

The Marie Stopes Papua New Guinea’s (MSPNG’s) mission is to ensure individuals’ fundamental right to have children by choice, not chance. MSPNG works to support the National Department of Health (NDoH) of PNG to implement national sexual and reproductive health (SRH) strategies and achieve national maternal health goals through the delivery of a broad range of high-quality family planning (FP) and SRH services including health systems strengthening approaches. MSPNG is part of the Marie Stopes International (MSI) global partnership, which works to improve the health and quality of life of communities in 36 countries world-wide.

MSPNG invites qualified and reputable Building Construction and Renovation service providers to submit sealed bids for the provision of building improvement and renovation works at our facility located in:

Units 9 and 10B, MSPNG Office – Port Moresby,
Ume Street, Tropicana Compound, Gordons,

The call for bids is now open for interested and qualified Building Construction and Renovation companies to Provide Service to the Port Moresby Support Office Clinic. Interested organisations can obtain a ToR by contacting the Procurement Team at [email protected]

Interested bidders may need to do a site inspection before a quotation is issued.

Across Papua New Guinea, women’s access to healthcare is deeply influenced by community beliefs and the information available to them. When misinformation spreads, it can create real barriers to essential services.

At Marie Stopes Papua New Guinea, we witness the impact of this every day and the powerful role that clear, accurate, and respectful storytelling can play in improving understanding and access to care. That is why Social Inclusion is a very important part of our programming. Ensuring that our Service providers are equipped to support all clients who seek out Family Planning in a manner that helps them feel safe and respected so that they feel comfortable exercising their right to choice.

We are excited to share that on Tuesday 28th April, Marie Stopes PNG’s Gender Equality and Social Inclusion Mentor Nancy Hombo, will be participating in the conference in Melbourne. She will join journalists and advocates to discuss how responsible reporting can better reflect the realities faced by women and communities.

We invite journalists attending to be part of this important conversation and engage with perspectives from the frontlines in Papua New Guinea.
