Moderate to occasionally Heavy rainshowers with lightning and strong winds are being experienced in (Bakun, Kapangan, Mankayan, Tublay, LaTrinidad, Kibungan), (Sugpon, Alilem and Sigay) which may persist within 30 mins to 1 hour and may affect nearby areas.

The above conditions are expected over (Agno, Bani, Bolinao), (Atok, BaguioCity, Bokod, Buguias, Itogon, Kabayan, Sablan, Tuba), (Tinoc, Hungduan), (Bagulin, SanGabriel, Santol), (Suyo, Cervantes and Quirino) within the next 1 to 2 hours.

All are advised to take precautionary measures against the impacts associated with these hazards. Residents along mountain slope are advised for possible landslides mudslides, rockslides and flash flood.

The Cordillera Administrative Region will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms due to Localized Thunderstorms. Possible flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms.

Light to Moderate winds will prevail over the region.

LOOK: The Office of Civil Defense–Cordillera Administrative Region (OCD-CAR) successfully conducted its Annual Internal Quality Audit (IQA) as part of its continuing efforts to strengthen the implementation of its ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System (QMS).

The internal audit evaluated the implementation and conformity of identified management, core, and support processes of OCD-CAR, with emphasis on the effective delivery of Civil Defense and Disaster Risk Reduction and Management (DRRM) services.

The activity provided an opportunity to assess existing processes, review documented information and records, and identify conformities, commendable practices, areas for improvement, and opportunities to further enhance organizational performance and service delivery.

The audit was conducted by the OCD-CAR Internal Quality Audit (IQA) Team, composed of trained personnel from the Regional Office, demonstrating the Office's continuing efforts to develop internal competency in quality management and ensure the consistent implementation of established QMS processes.

LOOK: The Office of Civil Defense-Cordillera Administrative Region (OCD-CAR), together with the members of the Regional Selection Committee (RSC), conducted an orientation for local government units (LGUs) and other stakeholders on the CY 2026 Gawad KALASAG (GK) Special Awards.

The orientation provided an overview of this year’s Special Awards categories, namely Government Emergency Management and Response Teams (GEMs) and Special Recognition and Heroic Acts, which recognize individuals and groups for their notable contributions, initiatives, and acts of heroism in disaster risk reduction and management (DRRM) and humanitarian assistance.

During the activity, OCD-CAR Regional Director Albert A. Mogol, through Engr. Jose Ignacio V. Valera, Chief, Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Division (DRRMD), conveyed his appreciation to the members of the Regional Selection Committee, validators, participating LGUs, and stakeholders for their support and active involvement in the implementation of the Gawad KALASAG Special Awards.

The message likewise emphasized the importance of the collective efforts of validators, LGUs, partners, and other stakeholders in ensuring the effective implementation of the awards program and in recognizing individuals and groups whose contributions help strengthen disaster resilience and humanitarian action.

The activity also provided an avenue to engage potential participants and partners and to further encourage participation in the CY 2026 Gawad KALASAG Special Awards.

Through the Special Awards, the OCD-CAR and the Regional Selection Committee seek to recognize exemplary contributions to DRRM and humanitarian assistance, while inspiring more individuals, groups, and organizations to take part in building safer, more resilient, and disaster-ready communities in the Cordillera.
