LOOK: The Office of Civil Defense-Cordillera Administrative Region (OCD-CAR) provided non-food items, including Family Hygiene Kits, to the Municipality of Dolores, Abra today, 12 August 2026, in support of its ongoing response operations for families affected by Tropical Cyclones and , as well as the Enhanced Southwest Monsoon.

This is based on the request of the Municipali for them to enhance their disaster response readiness to ensure readily available resources for their citizenry.

The provision of these relief items forms part of the continuing response efforts of the OCD-CAR and the Cordillera Regional Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (RDRRMC) in support of communities affected by the impacts of Tropical Cyclones and and the Enhanced Southwest Monsoon across the Cordillera Administrative Region.

LOOK: The Office of Civil Defense-Cordillera Administrative Region (OCD-CAR), as the lead agency of the Logistics Cluster of the Cordillera Regional Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (RDRRMC), provided fuel assistance to monitoring and response agencies in support of ongoing disaster management operations for Tropical Cyclones and , and the Enhanced Southwest Monsoon.

The fuel assistance was extended to the Baguio City Police Office (BCPO), Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP)-Ifugao, BFP La Trinidad Fire Station, and Tuba Fire Station to augment their operational requirements and ensure the sustained mobility of personnel and response vehicles deployed for ground monitoring and emergency response activities.

The provision of fuel assistance forms part of the continuing efforts of the Cordillera RDRRMC, through the OCD-CAR-led Logistics Cluster, to strengthen operational readiness and facilitate the timely deployment of response resources in areas affected or potentially affected by the weather disturbances.

Southwest Monsoon affecting Luzon.

As of 3:00 PM today, Tropical Storm Nangka (2617) is located 2,280 km east of Extreme Northern Luzon, with maximum sustained winds of 65 km/h, gustiness of up to 80 km/h, and moving eastward at 10 km/h.

The Provinces of Benguet and Abra will experience Cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms due to Southwest Monsoon. Possible flash floods or landslides may occur due to moderate to at times heavy rains.

While, the rest of the Cordillera Administrative Region will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms due to Southwest Monsoon. Possible flash floods or landslides may occur during severe thunderstorms.

Moderate to strong winds blowing from the Southwest will prevail over the region.
