The University of Baguio librarians visited the Manila International Book Fair (MIBF) 2026 on September 12 at the SMX Convention Center Manila, Mall of Asia Complex, Pasay City. The visit was a meaningful opportunity for the librarians to explore new books, educational materials, and resources that may enrich the University’s library collections and better serve the UB community.

Throughout the fair, the librarians visited different booths, browsed newly published titles, and connected with various publishers and suppliers. The experience allowed them to discover resources relevant to the diverse programs of the University while also gaining ideas on current developments and trends in books and library resources.

The MIBF visit reflects the UB Library’s continuing commitment to providing updated, relevant, and quality resources for students, faculty, and researchers. More than simply selecting books, the visit was an opportunity for the librarians to learn, connect, and find ways to further improve the collections and services of the UB Library. ❤🩶
