Timely Removal of Tactile Pavement in Lower Gen. Luna
The Barangay Lower Gen. Luna administration specifically thru the initiative of Kagawad Marvin Finuliar and the immediate response of Engineer Jerome Murff of DPWH took timely action in removing the tactile pavement along the area following nearly 10 days of continuous rain. The decision was made as a preventive safety measure after the pavement became increasingly slippery when wet, posing a potential hazard to pedestrians, particularly senior citizens, children, and other vulnerable residents.
The prompt removal helped eliminate the risk of slippage and related accidents in the area, especially during the ongoing rainy season. The initiative demonstrates the barangayโs commitment to addressing potential hazards before they result in injuries and ensuring the safety and convenience of the community.
The barangay continues to monitor public areas and implement necessary measures to maintain a safe, accessible, and accident-free environment for all residents and pedestrians.
