𝗜𝗛𝗟 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 | The Philippine Military Academy joined the entire AFP in the observance of the International Humanitarian Law Month on Monday, August 3, 2026.

In his message, LTGEN LOGICO highlighted the roles of military personnel and the significance of IHL. “𝘖𝘶𝘳 𝘤𝘰𝘮𝘮𝘪𝘵𝘮𝘦𝘯𝘵 𝘵𝘰 𝘐𝘯𝘵𝘦𝘳𝘯𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯𝘢𝘭 𝘏𝘶𝘮𝘢𝘯𝘪𝘵𝘢𝘳𝘪𝘢𝘯 𝘓𝘢𝘸 𝘪𝘴 𝘯𝘰𝘯-𝘯𝘦𝘨𝘰𝘵𝘪𝘢𝘣𝘭𝘦. 𝗦𝗧𝗥𝗔𝗧𝗘𝗚𝗜𝗖 𝗣𝗔𝗥𝗧𝗡𝗘𝗥𝗦𝗛𝗜𝗣 | The Philippine Military Academy welcomed the top management representatives of Smart Communications Inc., headed by Ms Debbie Hu, First Vice President for Network Build, Operations, and Maintenance Group, during their visit to the Academy on July 29, 2026.

The engagement reaffirmed the longstanding partnership between PMA and Smart in advancing digital education. Discussions focused on improving ICT connectivity, upgrading computer laboratories, strengthening network infrastructure, and expanding Wi-Fi access at Melchor Hall to support the Academy’s evolving academic requirements.

As PMA prepares future officers for technology-driven and multi-domain environments, reliable digital infrastructure remains essential in developing critical, adaptive, and future-ready military leaders.

𝗜𝗡 𝗣𝗛𝗢𝗧𝗢𝗦 | The Philippine Military Academy presented a Command Plaque to Captain Alnasser L Kasim CHS, Imam Chaplain, at the Lim Hall Lobby on July 16, 2026.

The Academy recognized his valuable contribution as Imam Chaplain, PMA, and Administrative Officer of the Office of the Command Chaplain from July 16, 2022 to July 16, 2026.

His four-year tenure contributed to the development of Muslim cadets by strengthening their faith while upholding the Academy's values and standards and fulfilling the calling of the military profession.

𝗧𝗥𝗔𝗜𝗡 𝗧𝗢 𝗪𝗜𝗡 | The New Cadet Battalion of PMA Class 2030 takes another step in its military training through a preparatory foot march that builds endurance, discipline, teamwork, and mental resilience.

More than a test of physical strength, the foot march teaches cadets to move with purpose, carry their responsibilities, support one another, and remain steadfast despite fatigue. These are essential qualities in soldiery and in preparing future Leaders of Character for a lifetime of service to the nation.

𝗧𝗥𝗔𝗡𝗦𝗜𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡𝗦 | From one leader to the next, the Philippine Military Academy marked a defining transition as Vice Admiral Caesar Bernard N Valencia PN relinquished command to Lieutenant General Michael G Logico PA during the Change of Command Ceremony.

The occasion also honored another profound transition, from more than four decades of dedicated military service to a well-earned retirement for Vice Admiral Valencia. As one chapter closes and another begins, PMA carries forward its enduring mission of developing Leaders of Character committed to a lifetime of service to the nation.

𝗜𝗡 𝗣𝗛𝗢𝗧𝗢𝗦 | The PMA community came together in thanksgiving as the Officers, men and women, dependents, and cadets celebrated the Feast of Saint Ignatius of Loyola on 26 July 2026.

More than a religious celebration, the occasion served as a reminder that military service is grounded not only in courage and discipline, but also in faith, humility, and selfless service.

Inspired by the life and teachings of Saint Ignatius, the PMA community renewed its commitment to forming Leaders of Character who lead with integrity, compassion, and unwavering dedication to God, country, and the Filipino people.
