𝙀𝙣𝙜𝙡𝙞𝙨𝙝 𝘾𝙡𝙪𝙗, 𝙣𝙖𝙜𝙨𝙖𝙜𝙖𝙬𝙖 𝙣𝙜 𝙝𝙖𝙡𝙖𝙡𝙖𝙣 𝙥𝙖𝙧𝙖 𝙨𝙖 𝙢𝙜𝙖 𝙤𝙥𝙞𝙨𝙮𝙖𝙡 𝙣𝙜 𝙏.𝙋. 2026–2027

Nagsagawa ng halalan ang English Club para sa mga bagong opisyal nito para sa Taong Panuruan 2026–2027, Hulyo 28, 2026, sa silid-aklatan ng Fort Del Pilar National High School (FDPNHS) sa oras nang tanghalian.

Bago isinagawa ang halalan, nagkaroon muna ng oryentasyon na pinangunahan ng tagapayo ng English Club na si Sir Salvador Canyas. Ipinaliwanag niya ang layunin ng samahan, ang mga tungkulin ng mga opisyal at miyembro, at ang kahalagahan ng aktibong pakikilahok sa mga programa at gawain ng club. Hinikayat din niya ang mga mag-aaral na maglunsad ng mga proyektong magpapalawak ng kanilang kasanayan sa pagbasa, pagsulat, pagsasalita, at pagkamalikhain sa wikang Ingles.

Bilang bahagi ng programa, nagpakilala ang bawat miyembro upang higit na makilala ang isa't isa at mapatatag ang samahan. Nagbigay rin ng mensahe si SSLG Vice President Miziel Reine Gatchallan, kinatawan ng SSLG para sa English Club, kung saan ipinaliwanag niya ang kanyang tungkulin sa pakikipag-ugnayan sa samahan upang matiyak ang maayos na koordinasyon ng mga gawain at programa.

Matapos ang oryentasyon, isinagawa ang halalan sa isang maayos at patas na paraan.
Nahalal bilang mga bagong opisyal ng English Club sina Darla Tapucol bilang Pangulo; Yusha Esteban, Pangalawang Pangulo; Shemaiah Ngitit, Kalihim; Prince Gabriel Seville, Ingat-Yaman; Fredinelori Tamayo, Tagasuri; Misty Raine Fariñas, Public Information Officer (PIO); at Sunshine Pawid, Kinatawan ng mga Mag-aaral.

Inaasahang pangungunahan ng mga bagong opisyal ang iba't ibang programa at gawaing magpapahusay sa kasanayan ng mga mag-aaral sa wikang Ingles. Nakatakda ang kanilang panunumpa sa tungkulin sa Hulyo 31, 2026, bilang hudyat ng opisyal na pagsisimula ng kanilang paglilingkod sa samahan.

𝗚𝗿𝗮𝗱𝗲 𝟭𝟮 𝗔𝘀𝘀𝗲𝗿𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀, 𝗡𝗮𝗴𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗵𝗮𝗹 𝗻𝗴 𝗞𝗮𝘁𝘂𝘁𝘂𝗯𝗼𝗻𝗴 𝗦𝗮𝘆𝗮𝘄 𝗻𝗴 𝗞𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴𝗮 𝘀𝗮 𝗣𝗮𝗴𝗱𝗶𝗿𝗶𝘄𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝗻𝗴 𝗖𝗼𝗿𝗱𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗿𝗮 𝗠𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗵

Bilang paggunita sa ika-34 na anibersaryo ng pagkakatatag ng Rehiyong Cordillera, nagtanghal ang mga mag-aaral ng Grade 12 Assertiveness ng isang katutubong sayaw mula sa lalawigan ng Kalinga na ginanap na programa sa Alumni Hill matapos ang pangkalahatang flag ceremony.

Ang pagtatanghal ay bahagi ng pagdiriwang ng Cordillera Month tuwing buwan ng Hulyo at nagsilbing pagbigay-pugay sa mayamang kultura, tradisyon, at pagkakakilanlan ng mga mamamayan ng rehiyon.

Pinangasiwaan ni G. Jhon Cydrix De Guzman, g**o sa Physical Education, ang nasabing pagtatanghal bilang bahagi ng pagganap ng mga mag-aaral sa kanilang asignatura. Sa pamamagitan ng gawaing ito, naipamalas ng mga mag-aaral ang kanilang talento at pagpapahalaga sa mga katutubong sining at kultura ng Cordillera.

Naging bahagi rin ng programa si Bb. Graciaflor Albing, IPED Coordinator, bilang katuwang sa pagtataguyod ng Indigenous Peoples Education (IPED) at sa pagpapalaganap ng kamalayang pangkultura sa loob ng paaralan.

Ipinakita ng programa ang kahalagahan ng pagpapanatili at pagpapahalaga sa pamana ng mga katutubong pamayanan, kasabay ng pagdiriwang ng anibersaryo ng pagkakatatag ng Rehiyong Cordillera.

𝗣𝗠𝗔-𝗘𝗣𝗟𝗔, 𝗣𝗔𝗙𝗖𝗣𝗜𝗖 𝗧𝗨𝗥𝗡 𝗢𝗩𝗘𝗥 𝗦𝗔𝗙𝗘𝗧𝗬, 𝗛𝗘𝗔𝗟𝗧𝗛, 𝗔𝗡𝗗 𝗪𝗘𝗟𝗟𝗡𝗘𝗦𝗦 𝗜𝗧𝗘𝗠𝗦 𝗧𝗢 𝗙𝗗𝗣𝗡𝗛𝗦

The Philippine Military Academy–Enlisted Personnel Ladies Association (PMA-EPLA) and the PAFCPIC-Community Development Program turned over safety, health, and wellness items to Fort Del Pilar National High School (FDPNHS) during the Grade 9 flag-raising ceremony held at the Alumni Hill ground as part of the observance of National Nutrition Month.

The turned over items included 108 hard hats for Grade 9 learners, medical kits for all Grade 9 sections, whistles for all school personnel, 40 umbrellas for Grade 8–Caimito learners, essential medicines such as Tempra, Symdex, Imodium, Cetirizine, and Salbutamol, clinic equipment consisting of a nebulizer, stethoscope, and oximeter, and 60 soup bowls for the school's feeding program donated by PMA-EPLA.

According to the organizers, the hard hats will be used for disaster preparedness, while the medical kits, medicines, and clinic equipment will strengthen the school's first-aid services and health monitoring. The whistles will serve as emergency tools for school personnel, while the umbrellas will help protect Grade 8–Caimito learners from rain and excessive sun exposure. The soup bowls will be used in the TLE laboratory for the school's feeding program, which EPLA volunteers scheduled to return on July 29 to conduct another feeding activity.

Aside from the turnover of donations, PMA-EPLA members led a Zumba session to promote physical fitness among learners and conducted a feeding activity for selected students in support of the National Nutrition Month celebration.

The initiative was made possible through the coordination of FDPNHS Faculty President Imelda Begnaen, who presented the school's identified needs to the partner organizations.

The school administration expressed its sincere gratitude to PMA-EPLA, PAFCPIC, and the parent donors for their continued generosity and support. The donations and wellness activities are expected to further enhance learner safety, strengthen school health services, and promote nutrition and overall well-being within the FDPNHS community.

𝗙𝗗𝗣𝗡𝗛𝗦 𝗣𝗥𝗢𝗠𝗢𝗧𝗘𝗦 𝗟𝗘𝗔𝗥𝗡𝗘𝗥𝗦’ 𝗢𝗥𝗔𝗟 𝗛𝗘𝗔𝗟𝗧𝗛 𝗧𝗛𝗥𝗢𝗨𝗚𝗛 𝗗𝗘𝗡𝗧𝗔𝗟 𝗦𝗖𝗥𝗘𝗘𝗡𝗜𝗡𝗚

Fort Del Pilar National High School (FDPNHS), in partnership with the Schools Division Office (SDO) of Baguio Dental Team, conducted an oral health screening for learners at the school clinic on July 21, 2026.

The activity was led by Dr. Maria Loreto Andrada and Dr. Roy A. Ananayo, with the assistance of Dental Aide Honorario Matulay.

During the screening, the dental team examined learners and provided guidance on proper oral hygiene. They emphasized the importance of regular tooth brushing, timely dental treatment, and preventive oral care to maintain healthy teeth and gums. Learners who required tooth extraction were reminded to secure parental consent before undergoing the procedure.

The activity forms part of FDPNHS's continuing health program, which aims to provide essential dental services and promote the overall health and well-being of its learners.

📌 FDPNHS extends its sincere gratitude to the SDO Baguio Dental Team for their time, expertise, and commitment to promoting good oral health among Fort High learners. The school also expresses its deepest appreciation to Ma'am Laarni Perlas, School Clinic In-Charge, and Ma'am Imelda Begnaen for their unwavering assistance and coordination, which helped ensure the smooth and successful conduct of the activity.

Nagsagawa ng libreng dental check-up para sa mga mag-aaral ng Fort Del Pilar National High School (FDPNHS) ngayong Hulyo 21 sa harap ng school clinic bilang bahagi ng programang pangkalusugan ng paaralan.

Pinangunahan nina Dr.Roy Ananayo, Dentist II, at Dr. Maria Loreto Andrada, Dentist II, ang pagsusuri sa kalusugan ng ngipin ng mga mag-aaral.
Nakiisa rin sa aktibidad ang Clinic In-Charge na si Laarni Perlas upang matiyak ang maayos na pagsasagawa ng programa.
Layunin ng libreng dental check-up na masuri ang kalagayan ng kalusugan ng ngipin at bibig ng mga mag-aaral, matukoy ang mga nangangailangan ng karagdagang gamutan at mahikayat ang wastong pangangalaga sa kalusugan ng bibig.
Ang naturang aktibidad ay bahagi ng patuloy na pagpapatupad ng mga serbisyong pangkalusugan ng paaralan para sa kapakanan at kaligtasan ng mga mag-aaral.

Nakatanggap ng pampurga ang mga mag-aaral mula Grade 7 hanggang Grade 12 ng Fort Del Pilar National High School (FDPNHS) noong Hulyo 21 bilang bahagi ng programang pangkalusugan na naglalayong maprotektahan sila laban sa mga parasitic infection.

Isinagawa ang pamamahagi ng gamot sa loob ng mga silid-aralan sa pangunguna ni Nurse II Don Jose C. Tolentino.

Tanging mga mag-aaral na may pahintulot ng kanilang mga magulang ang nabigyan ng pampurga matapos maipamahagi ang consent letter noong nakaraang linggo.

Ayon sa paaralan, layunin ng deworming activity na mapanatiling malusog ang mga mag-aaral sa pamamagitan ng pag-aalis ng mga parasite na maaaring makaapekto sa kanilang nutrisyon, paglaki, at pagkatuto.

Ang naturang gawain ay bahagi ng patuloy na pagpapatupad ng mga programang pangkalusugan ng paaralan upang matiyak ang kapakanan at kagalingan ng bawat mag-aaral.

𝗙𝗗𝗣𝗡𝗛𝗦 𝗖𝗢𝗡𝗗𝗨𝗖𝗧𝗦 𝗦𝗖𝗛𝗢𝗢𝗟-𝗕𝗔𝗦𝗘𝗗 𝗗𝗘𝗪𝗢𝗥𝗠𝗜𝗡𝗚

Registered Nurse II Don Jose C. Tolentino distributed chewable Albendazole tablets to Grades 7–12 learners of Fort Del Pilar National High School (FDPNHS) on July 21, 2026, as part of the School-Based Deworming Program (SBDP).

Before the distribution, Tolentino oriented learners on the proper use of the tablets, advising them to take the medicine after a meal to improve absorption and reduce possible mild side effects, such as stomach pain or nausea.

The School-Based Deworming Program is implemented twice a year by the Department of Education (DepEd) in partnership with the Department of Health (DOH) to help prevent soil-transmitted helminthiasis among public school learners.

The deworming tablets are provided free of charge and are released only to learners with signed parental or guardian consent forms. Learners are instructed to take the tablets at home under the supervision of their parents or guardians.

Fort Del Pilar National High School (FDPNHS) received donations from the Department of Budget and Management (DBM) on July 20, 2026, to support the school's facilities and services.

The donated items included one bed with a mattress, one set of beddings, one comforter, and eight chairs. The donations were received by Administrative Officer Kate Alfonso on behalf of the school.

The bed was placed in the school clinic to enhance the comfort and care of learners who may need medical attention while on campus. Meanwhile, the eight chairs will be distributed for school use.

Agarang nagsagawa ng mga hakbang pangkaligtasan ang Fort Del Pilar National High School (FDPNHS) matapos maramdaman ang Magnitude 4.5 na lindol na tumama sa Tuba, Benguet at yumanig sa Baguio City dakong 2:33 ng hapon noong Hulyo 9.

Bilang paunang tugon sa pagyanig, isinagawa muna ng mga mag-aaral, g**o, at kawani ng paaralan ang duck, cover, and hold sa loob ng kanilang mga silid-aralan upang maprotektahan ang kanilang sarili habang nagpapatuloy ang lindol.

Matapos humupa ang pagyanig, maayos na inilikas ang lahat patungo sa Alumni Hill, ang itinalagang evacuation area ng FDPNHS, bilang pagsunod sa mga itinakdang protocol sa oras ng sakuna.

Habang nasa evacuation area, pinangunahan ni Guidance Designate Juliet Lagan ang pagsasagawa ng Psychological First Aid (PFA) upang mabawasan ang takot at tensiyon ng mga mag-aaral.

May ilang mag-aaral na nakaranas ng pagkahilo at pagkabigla matapos ang lindol. Agad silang inasikaso ng school clinic, mga safety officer, at iba pang kawani ng paaralan. Ang mga nangangailangan ng karagdagang atensiyong medikal ay dinala sa PMA Hospital habang patuloy na minonitor ng kanilang mga class adviser ang kanilang kalagayan at ipinaalam ito sa kanilang mga magulang.

Samantala, nagsagawa ng inspeksyon ang mga itinalagang building inspection focal persons sa bawat gusali at silid-aralan upang matiyak ang kaligtasan ng mga pasilidad ng paaralan.

Batay sa isinagawang inspeksyon, walang naitalang pinsala sa mga gusali at iba pang pasilidad ng FDPNHS kaya nanatiling ligtas gamitin ang mga ito.

Fort Del Pilar National High School (FDPNHS), led by School Head Salome C. Fangkingan, conducted a Tabletop Exercise (TTX) on an active shooter/attacker scenario to assess the school's emergency response procedures, strengthen personnel preparedness, and enhance coordination with partner agencies.

The exercise was conducted in coordination with the Baguio City Police Office (BCPO), headed by City Director PCOL Ruel Tagel, together with NAPOLCOM Attorney V Atty. Michelle Gayagay-Lee, City DRRMO Department Head Engr. Charles Bryan Carame, and Barangay Fort del Pilar Kagawad Florentino P. Meneses Jr., as part of ongoing efforts to ensure a safe and secure learning environment.

Facilitated by PDO II-Division DRRM Coordinator of DepEd Baguio Cliftone Bangse-il, the activity presented realistic emergency scenarios in which school personnel discussed and demonstrated their respective roles and response actions. The exercise focused on command, control, coordination, and communication during an active shooter incident.

After the scenario presentations and demonstrations, representatives from the partner agencies evaluated the exercise and commended the school's detailed contingency plan while recommending several improvements before the conduct of the full-scale simulation. They emphasized the need for personnel to master the contingency plan, clearly understand their roles and responsibilities, strengthen communication systems, develop additional emergency scenarios, and identify available resources that may be needed during critical incidents.

The Tabletop Exercise forms part of the school's preparations as one of the pilot schools for the implementation of the Active Attacker Action/Contingency Plan, alongside Baguio City High School.
