The 𝗟𝗼𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗚𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝗕𝗮𝘁𝗮𝗱, through the 𝗢𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗛𝘂𝗺𝗮𝗻 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗰𝗲 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁, and in partnership with the 𝗢𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗠𝘂𝗻𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗽𝗮𝗹 𝗔𝗴𝗿𝗶𝗰𝘂𝗹𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗶𝘀𝘁 supports the implementation of the 𝗞𝗮𝗱𝗶𝘄𝗮 𝗻𝗴 𝗣𝗮𝗻𝗴𝘂𝗹𝗼 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺 as part of the 𝗛𝗲𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗵𝘆 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗸𝗽𝗹𝗮𝗰𝗲 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺 implementation.

This initiative provides local farmers and fisherfolk with an opportunity to showcase and sell their fresh agricultural and fishery products while enabling government employees and community members to access affordable and nutritious food.

Through this activity, LGU Batad promotes healthy eating, supports local livelihoods, and strengthens community partnerships toward a healthier and more sustainable municipality.

The Municipality of Batad is proud to be among the 10 LGUs in the Province of Iloilo that passed the Regional Validation on the Healthy Workplace Program 2026, together with Badiangan, Cabatuan, Barotac Viejo, Dumangas, Tigbauan, Passi City, Pototan, Sara, and Oton.

This achievement reflects the collective efforts of the different offices of LGU Batad, particularly the Municipal Health Office and the Human Resource Management Office (HRMO), in promoting a healthy workplace and better public service.

The celebration formally commenced with the Opening Program, featuring the National Anthem, Invocation, Municipal Hymn, and Awit ng Serbisyo Sibil—a fitting start to a celebration honoring the dedication and contributions of every government worker.

Following the opening program was a Zumba session, promoting physical wellness and an active lifestyle as part of the LGU’s continuing Healthy Workplace Program.

The celebration then proceeded with a meaningful and timely Mental Health in the Workplace Talk, facilitated by Christian Harold M. Preche, Nurse III and Mental Health Program Manager of the Iloilo Provincial Health Office. The session emphasized the importance of mental well-being in the workplace and encouraged employees to recognize the value of taking care of their mental health while fulfilling their responsibilities in public service.

After the talk, government employees took part in the Signing of Commitment, symbolizing their renewed commitment to uphold professionalism, integrity, compassion, and excellence in serving the community.

The afternoon continued with Pamper Hour para sa Lingkod Bayan, providing employees with a well-deserved opportunity to relax and recharge, followed by Laro ng Lahi, where fun, teamwork, and camaraderie took center stage.

More than an anniversary celebration, the occasion served as a reminder that public service is a commitment carried out not only through our work, but also through our care for ourselves, our fellow employees, and the community we serve.

The Local Government Unit of Batad, headed by Hon Elvira P. Alarcon, Municipal Mayor, and Hon. Steven Michael Y. Andrada, Municipal Vice Mayor, through the Human Resource Management Office, successfully conducted the Color Fun Run for a Cause on September 23, 2026, as part of the celebration of the 126th Philippine Civil Service Anniversary.

The activity brought together government employees and members of the community in a meaningful celebration of health, camaraderie, and public service. More than the vibrant colors and joyful moments, the event highlighted the spirit of unity, compassion, and service.

The Local Government of Batad extends its sincere appreciation to all participants, partner offices, , DepEd, NISU, PNP, BFP, LYDC, organizers, and everyone who contributed to the success of this activity.
