The Municipal Health Office, in celebration of Women’s Month 2026, provided Free Random Blood Sugar Testing and Family Planning Commodities at the Prof. Amado G. Espino Sr. Event Center.

This initiative aims to promote preventive healthcare, raise awareness on diabetes prevention and management, encourage early detection of possible health risks, and promote proper family planning, while supporting the overall health and well-being of the community.

In celebration of Women’s Month 2026, the Municipality of Bautista successfully conducted a Free Pap Smear Screening for women LGU employees and Barangay Council members.

The activity was conducted by Dr. Beverly Bangis-Cabanayan, Obstetrician-Gynecologist, whose expertise ensured quality and compassionate care for all participants.

This initiative was spearheaded by Municipal Mayor Hon. Rosemarie G. Gacutan, together with Municipal Health Officer Geranyl P. Laguardia, MD, DPCP, and the dedicated RHU staff.

The activity aims to promote women’s health and wellness, encourage the early detection of cervical cancer, and raise awareness of the importance of regular screening among women in the community.

Through this effort, the Municipality of Bautista continues its commitment to safeguarding the health and well-being of every Bautistanians!

Nakiisa ang bawat barangay ng Bautista sa paggunita ng World TB Day, bilang bahagi ng patuloy na kampanya laban sa Tuberculosis (TB).

Sa pamamagitan ng candle lighting activity, pinagtibay ang layuning mapataas ang kamalayan, hikayatin ang maagap na pagpapasuri, at maisulong ang tamang gamutan upang tuluyang masugpo ang sakit.

Sama-sama nating wakasan ang TB! 💙

Ginunita ng Bayan ng Bautista ang World Tuberculosis Day sa pangunguna nina Punong Bayan Hon. Rosemarie G. Gacutan, Pangalawang Punong Bayan Hon. Joren Aaron C. Espino, Municipal Health Officer Geranyl P. Laguardia, at TB Coordinator Ariel E. Aguilar, kasama ang mga Department Heads, LGU employees, at Zumbautista.

Isinagawa ang maikling Zumba at candle lighting bilang simbolo ng pagkakaisa at patuloy na pakikiisa ng komunidad sa laban kontra Tuberculosis (TB).

Layunin nitong mapataas ang kamalayan at hikayatin ang komunidad sa maagap na pagpapasuri at tamang gamutan.

Mayor Niña, Winelcome ang MNAO-Bautista sa Kanilang Lakbay-Aral

Mainit na winelcome ni Mayor Niña ang Municipal Nutrition Action Office (MNAO) ng Bautista sa kanilang paglalakbay-aral sa MNAO-Bayambang ngayong araw, Pebrero 18, 2026, upang matutunan ang mga naging epektibong programa at estratehiya ng bayan ng Bayambang sa larangan ng nutrisyon.

Pinangunahan ni Ms. Kristel Lucena ang delegasyon ng MNAO-Bautista kasama ang 18 na Barangay Nutrition Scholars sa pagkalap ng mga ideya at karanasan na maaaring iangkop sa kanilang sariling komunidad.

Ito ay dahil sa kagustuhan nilang mas lalo pang mapahusay ang kanilang kakayahan sa pagpapatupad ng mga programang pang-nutrisyon, lalo na para sa mga bata, buntis na kababaihan, at iba pang sektor na nangangailangan ng sapat na nutrisyon.

Nanguna naman si Municipal Nutritionist Venus M. Bueno at kanyang staff upang ibahagi ang kanilang mga gawain kabilang na ang mga paraan ng pagmonitor sa timbang at taas ng mga bata, pagpapaunlad ng mga community garden, at mga programa para sa pagpapalakas ng nutrisyon ng mga ina.

Ang lakbay-aral ay isang patunay ng patuloy na pagtutulungan ng mga lokal na pamahalaan sa pagbabahagi ng kaalaman at karanasan, upang mapabuti ang antas ng serbisyong pangkalusugan at nutrisyon sa mga komunidad at masiguro ang malusog na kinabukasan ng mga mamamayan. All DepEd personnel requesting laboratory examinations (Urinalysis, CBC, and other required tests) are hereby informed of the following procedures:

Step 1:
Laboratory services are FREE OF CHARGE. Kindly accomplish the MCA (Mutual Care Agreement) form prior to proceeding to the laboratory.
(Please coordinate with the RHU staff for assistance.)

Step 2:
For personnel who are registered with other facilities and will be transferred, it is required to undergo the PhilHealth Check Utility and accomplish the PKRF (PhilHealth Konsulta Registration Form).
(Please coordinate with the RHU staff for assistance.)

This meaningful activity was made possible through the support of Municipal Mayor Hon. Rosemarie G. Gacutan, Municipal Health Officer Dr. Geranyl P. Laguardia, Brgy. Captain Vicente V. Ferrer, Medical Laboratory Tech. Ariel E. Aguilar, the Barangay Health Workers, CFERMTC, and the RHU Staff.

From commitment to accomplishment!

We proudly announce that the eight (8) remaining barangays of the Municipality of Bautista have successfully achieved Zero Open Defecation (ZOD).

This milestone was made possible through the esteemed leadership and unwavering support of our Municipal Mayor, Hon. Rosemarie G. Gacutan; the Municipal Council headed by Municipal Vice Mayor Joren Aaron C. Espino; Municipal Health Officer Dr. Geranyl P. Laguardia; EMS/MENRO Rochelle Siahon; Municipal Agriculturist Ernesto M. Dorado; and the dedicated Barangay Captains and officials.

This achievement is proof that strong leadership, collaboration, and community cooperation can bring positive and lasting change for the health and well-being of every Bautistanians.
