FIRE SAFETY TIPS

πŸ”₯UNATTENDED COOKINGπŸ”₯

Cooking is part of our everyday routine, but leaving food unattended can quickly turn a simple meal into a fire emergency.

To help prevent cooking-related fires, remember these important safety tips:

πŸ”Έ Stay in the kitchen while cooking. Never leave the stove or oven unattended, even for a short time.
πŸ”Έ Turn off the stove when you leave. Always switch off heat sources before stepping away.
πŸ”Έ Keep flammable materials away. Keep towels, paper, curtains, and other combustible items away from burners.
πŸ”Έ Wear proper clothing. Avoid loose-fitting clothes or sleeves that can easily catch fire.
πŸ”Έ Keep a fire extinguisher nearby and know how to use it properly.
πŸ”Έ Never use water on a grease fire. Turn off the heat and, if safe to do so, cover the pan with a lid.
πŸ”Έ If a fire spreads, get out and call 911. Your safety should always come first.

πŸš’ Remember: Stay alert, stay safe, and never leave cooking unattended. A few seconds of attention can help prevent a devastating fire.
