WALANG GUTOM PROGRAM 2027
Food Redemption – Month 7 | August 25, 2026

As part of the continuous implementation of the Walang Gutom Program 2027, a total of ninety-five (95) beneficiaries from the Municipality of Carrascal successfully redeemed fresh and nutritious food commodities worth Php 3,000.00 through our local retailer partner, the SLP Panikian Pamana Association, during the Month 7 food redemption activity on August 25, 2026.

This initiative continues to support food security and promote access to healthy and nutritious food among beneficiary households, contributing to their overall well-being and improved quality of life.

The Municipality of Carrascal successfully conducted the validation and pay-out to 454 beneficiaries under the UPLIFT Program ensuring that qualified beneficiaries received the support intended for them.

This activity reflects the continued commitment of the Local Government Unit of Carrascal and partner agencies present during the activity; DSWD AICS Workers, MSWDO Workers, PSA, PALAWAN PAWNSHOP-Carrascal Branch, DSWD 4Ps and SLP Workers to provide timely and accessible assistance to individuals and families in need. Through proper validation and an organized pay-out process, the program aims to strengthen the well-being and livelihood of beneficiaries in the community.

PARENT LEADERS’ CONGRESS 2026 | AUGUST 4, 2026

The Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office (MSWDO), through the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps), successfully conducted the Parent Leaders’ Congress 2026 at Mt. Carmel Seminar Hall, Brgy. Baybay, Carrascal, with the theme, “Strengthening Capabilities, Fostering Unity, and Leading Communities Forward.”

The program was formally opened by the Municipal Social Welfare and Development Officer, Ms. Kresta Mae I. Pa-as, RSW, MPA, who welcomed and inspired the Parent Leaders to continue serving as partners in community development. Mr. MC Lowinson N. Casia, RSW, SWO II/ML Community-Based Mental Health Promotion, also shared valuable insights on mental health, emphasizing resilience, well-being, and strong family support systems.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to our Municipal Mayor, Hon. Joseph L. Urgel, and our Municipal Vice Mayor, Hon. Vicente H. Pimentel III, for their unwavering support and steadfast commitment to the successful implementation of the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps) and initiatives that empower families and strengthen communities.

Ang Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office (MSWDO) sa Carrascal nagpahibalo sa tanang benepisyaryo sa UPLIFT Program nga adunay Validation ug Pay-out :

🕘 Oras: 8:00am - 3:00pm
📍 Lugar:Carrascal Sports and Cultural Center

Ang Unified Package for Livelihood, Industry, Food, and Transport (UPLIFT) usa ka national relief framework nga gilunsad sa gobyerno aron tabangan ang mga pamilya ug workers nga naapektuhan sa energy emergency ug pagsaka sa presyo sa mga basic commodities.

👉 Ang pag‑identify sa mga beneficiaries niini gikan sa Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) base sa resulta sa 2024 Community-Based Monitoring System (CBMS), diin nasuta ang kahimtang sa matag panimalay pinaagi sa nakolektang datos.
⚠️ Wala’y kalabutan ang Local Government Unit (LGU) sa Carrascal sa pagpili sa benepisyaryo — patas ug transparent ang proseso, base sa opisyal nga datos sa PSA.

Giawhag ang tanang benepisyaryo nga motambong sa hustong petsa ug oras aron mapadayon ang validation ug madawat ang inyong benepisyo.

48TH NATIONAL DISABILITY RIGHTS WEEK CELEBRATION | JULY 31, 2026

Celebrating Abilities, Empowering Voices, and Promoting an Inclusive Society

The Local Government Unit of Carrascal, through the Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office (MSWDO) headed by Ms. Kresta Mae I. Pa-as, RSW, MPA, successfully celebrated the 48th National Disability Rights Week on July 31, 2026, at the Carrascal Sports and Cultural Center with the theme, “Rights First, Legislation Forward: Strategic Action for Equal Participation and Inclusive Development.”

The celebration was graced by Municipal Vice Mayor Hon. Vicente H. Pimentel III, who reaffirmed the Local Government Unit's commitment to protecting and promoting the rights and welfare of Persons with Disabilities (PWDs). Also joining the event was Ms. Stephanie Grace L. Paradero of the Provincial Disability Affairs Office (PDAO), who inspired participants to continue fostering inclusion, respect, and equal opportunities for every PWD.

One of the highlights of the celebration was the PWD Got Talent 2026, where participants proudly showcased their talents and abilities, proving that disability is never a barrier to excellence. The event also featured the distribution of assistive devices and food packs to support the beneficiaries.
