A new generation of champions is taking shape in Carrascal.

The Local Government Unit of Carrascal, under the leadership of Hon. Joseph L. Urgel and Vice Mayor Vicente H. Piementel III, continues its strong commitment to youth development through the ongoing “Skill Up 2026” Summer Sports Camps—an initiative designed by the Municipal Youth Development Office (MYDO) to discover, train, and empower young Carrascalanons in the field of sports and athletic excellence.

From the hardcourt to the open field, young athletes are actively engaging in structured sports clinics and training sessions in basketball, pickleball, badminton, futsal, tennis, and other dynamic sporting events. More than just physical activity, the program instills discipline, teamwork, resilience, and the spirit of healthy competition.

Each dribble, serve, sprint, and strike becomes a stepping stone toward a bigger dream—building confidence, unlocking potential, and nurturing the next generation of local sports champions who will one day carry the pride of Carrascal on bigger arenas.

The LGU proudly witnesses how sports continues to inspire and unite the youth, shaping not only skilled athletes but responsible, determined, and goal-driven Carrascalanons ready to excel in life.

Today marks the making of tomorrow’s champions.

𝗜𝗡 𝗣𝗛𝗢𝗧𝗢𝗦 || Highlights from the training sessions of the 𝗦𝗸𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗨𝗽 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 Summer Sports Camp conducted across the three clusters, together with the successful Culmination Program for various sports clinics.

As the camp officially comes to an end, may the lessons and values gained inside the court and beyond continue to inspire our youth to strive for excellence, strengthen their confidence, and become active champions in the community.

The Local Government Unit of Carrascal remains committed to strengthening youth development programs by providing continuous training opportunities, supporting talent identification, and implementing inclusive grassroots initiatives that further nurture the skills and potential of young athletes.

𝐈𝐍 𝐏𝐇𝐎𝐓𝐎𝐒 | Skill Up 2026 Carrascal Summer Sports Camp Opening Program

The opening program created an atmosphere of anticipation and shared purpose as the camp officially commenced, marking the official start of the Skill Up 2026 Carrascal Summer Sports Camp in Cluster 1, Cluster 2, and Barangay Caglayag.

The camp is set to conduct a series of training sessions and developmental activities designed to engage participants throughout the summer season, promoting sports development, discipline, teamwork, and youth empowerment.
