LOOK: Different Hands, One Purpose. Different Roles, One Shared Mission.

The Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps) workforce, including its technical focal persons and case managers in the Municipality of San Fernando, Cebu, successfully conducted a Technical Assistance and Partnership Meeting with DOH and LGU 4Ps Co-Implementers on September 3, 2026.

The activity brought together dedicated midwives, nurses, and other health professionals from the San Fernando Municipal Health Office.

The meeting served as a meaningful platform to strengthen coordination, clarify program policies and health compliance requirements, address implementation concerns, and reinforce the shared roles and responsibilities of partners in the delivery of 4Ps.

Through stronger collaboration among the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD), the Department of Health (DOH), and the Local Government Unit (LGU), we continue to build a more responsive and coordinated system of support for 4Ps families—ensuring that program implementation translates into meaningful improvements in their health, well-being, and quality of life.

Nagpalambo sa ilang kahanas sa table skirting ug pastry baking ang mga kliyente sa Regional Haven for Women pinaagi sa skills training nga gipasilitar sa Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) niadtong Agosto 27, 2026.

Pinaagi sa maong training, gihatagan og higayon ang mga kliyente nga makat-on og bag-ong mga kahanas ug mapalambo pa ang ilang nahibal-an nga mahimong magamit nila sa umaabot.

Dugang pa, usa sa mga tumong sa maong upskilling activity ang paghatag og oportunidad sa mga kliyente nga makapangandam alang sa livelihood ug makabarog sa kaugalingon kung panahon na sa ilang pagbalik ug pag-reintegrate sa komunidad.

Usa kini sa mga pamaagi sa DSWD-7 sa paghatag og empowerment sa mga kababayen-an ug kabataan nga anaa sa Haven, ilabina sa mga nanginahanglan og proteksyon, pag-atiman, ug suporta tungod sa ilang nasinati nga mga hagit sa kinabuhi.

To provide the Local Social Welfare and Development Officers (LSWDOs) in Bohol with a more engaging and hands-on learning experience, the DSWD-7 Technical Assistance and Other Resource Support Services (TAORRSS) conducted a learning visit at the Visayas Disaster Resource Center (VDRC) on September 3-4, 2026. The visit featured the actual process of producing Family Food Packs (FFPs) at DSWD.

The learning visit was led by Assistant Regional Director for Operations (ARDO) Jiah Sayson and Policy and Planning Development Division Chief Lilibeth Cabiara to help the LSWDOs better understand the processes, policies, and standards involved in food pack production.

In the province of Bohol, LSWDOs play an important role in ensuring the fast and efficient distribution of FFPs to families affected by disasters. DSWD-7 works closely with the LSWDOs in prepositioning FFPs and ensuring that proper storage facilities are available in their respective communities.

The learning visit forms part of DSWD-7’s efforts to ensure coordination with the LSWDOs, particularly in strengthening social protection and responding to the needs of disaster-affected families in Bohol.

DSWD-7 further strengthened its coordination with the Local Social Welfare and Development Officers (LSWDOs) in Bohol through the 2nd Quarterly Consultation Dialogue held on September 3-4, 2026.

The activity aimed to enhance coordination in the implementation of DSWD programs with the LSWDOs in the province.

In her message, Regional Director Shalaine Marie S. Lucero, CESO III, emphasized that an effective LSWDO is anchored on key foundations, including a clear vision and direction, effective leadership and governance, adequate resources, reliable information systems, and strong partnerships.

She also introduced HAPSAY (Harmonized Actions and Processes for Swift, Accountable Yield), which promotes simplified, faster, transparent, accountable, and client-centered services. She emphasized that HAPSAY is not merely a slogan but a culture of integrating people, programs, resources, and processes to provide more efficient services to clients.

The activity aimed to strengthen collaboration and improve social welfare services in the province of Bohol.

Joining the activity were Assistant Regional Director for Operations Jiah Sayson and newly appointed Policies and Plans Division Chief Lilibeth Cabiara.

LOOK: DSWD 7 – Innovations Division, strong as one! 💪

In support of the Walang Gutom Program (WGP) Productivity Fair, the various programs and services under the DSWD 7 – Central Visayas Innovations Division came together at SM Seaside Cebu on September 4, 2026.

Adding color and energy to the event were the Division’s interactive booths and information materials, featuring fun and educational activities from each program:

The team set up an interactive booth featuring the program’s knowledge products, a sample learner kit, and an engaging matching game, adding to the lively and energetic atmosphere of the event.

Visitors get a glimpse of how the Tara, Basa! Tutoring Program supports youth beneficiaries, learners, and their parents or guardians through the booth and meaningful learning resources and engaging educational activities.
