Mandate
The PSA shall primarily be responsible for the implementation of the objectives and provisions of R.A. 10625, R.A. 11055, and R.A. 11315. It shall plan, develop, prescribe, disseminate, and enforce policies, rules and regulations, and coordinate government-wide programs governing the production of official statistics, general purpose statistics, civil registration services and inclusive id

entification system. It shall primarily be responsible for all national censuses and surveys, sectoral statistics, community-based statistics, consolidation of selected administrative recording systems, and compilation of national accounts. Vision

This Nutrition Month, the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA), through its Gender and Development (GAD) Unit, joins the call to promote better nutrition and healthier futures for every Filipino child.

๐Ÿ“Š Statistics show that our children still face significant nutritional challenges. Based on the 2023 National Nutrition Survey, as cited in the 2026 Fact Sheet on Women and Men in the Philippines; here is the nutritional status of children aged 5-10 years:

๐Ÿ‘ฆ 23.0% of male children and 19.5% of female children aged 5โ€“10 years are underweight.
๐Ÿ“ 19.3% of male children and 16.4% of female children aged 5โ€“10 years are stunted.
โš–๏ธ 14.2% of male children and 11.5% of female children aged 5โ€“10 years are overweight for their height.
๐ŸŽ 8.9% of male children and 7.8% of female children aged 5โ€“10 years are experiencing wasting.

LOOK | PSA conducts 5-day Training on Property and Supply Management

The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA), through its General Services Division, successfully conducted a 5-day Property and Supply Management Training from 13 to 17 July 2026.

The training was attended by property custodians, supply officers, and other personnel from both the Central and Field Offices, strengthening their expertise in government and supply management.

Resource persons from the Department of Budget and Management - Procurement Service (DBM-PS), Commission on Audit (COA), and Government Service Insurance System (GSIS) provided updates and shared best practices on procurement, internal controls, property custodianship, insurance, disposal, and other key areas of property and supply management.

This initiative reflects the PSA's commitment to accountability, sound internal controls, and the responsible management of government resources in pursuit of efficient and responsive public service.

Ang Community-Based Monitoring System ( ) ng Philippine Statistics Authority ( ) ay sinisiguro na walang boses na hindi mapapakinggan. Dahil sa inisyatibong ito, bawat tahanan, bawat pamilya, at bawat indibidwal ay nabibigyan ng pagkakataon na mabilang at katawanin ang datos na kanilang binahagi.

Kinikilala ng CBMS ang mahalagang papel na ginagampanan ng bawat tahanan sa pagbuo ng mas malinaw at totoong larawan ng kalagayan ng bawat komunidad.

Ang taos-pusong pakikiisa ng bawat tahanan sa CBMS ay nakatutulong upang matukoy ang mga tunay na pangangailangan ng mga komunidad. Nagsisilbi itong gabay para sa mga programa at hakbang na naglalayong mapabuti ang kalidad ng buhay ng bawat Pilipino.

Sa CBMS, ang bawat sagot ay mahalaga at ang bawat boses ay nag-aambag sa mas malawak na larawan ng mga komunidad.

The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) welcomes Presidential Proclamation No. 1339, which extends the implementation of the Civil Registration and Vital Statistics (CRVS) Decade in the country until 2030.

Signed by President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. on 06 July 2026, the proclamation identifies the PSA as the lead agency for implementing CRVS programs.

As the PSA continues to strengthen the country's civil registration and vital statistics system, this proclamation reaffirms its commitment to building an inclusive, resilient, and future-ready framework that ensures every Filipino has access to legal identity and responsive vital statistics servicesโ€”leaving no one behind.

The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) has successfully integrated the National ID Authentication Services (NIDAS) with GoTyme Bank Corporation through a signing ceremony in Quezon City on 03 July 2026.

The integration enables GoTyme Bank Corp. to perform secure, real-time identity verification for users who use the National ID to open an account via its mobile application or established kiosks, enhancing banking security.

GoTyme Bank recognizes various National ID formats, including the Digital National ID and the National ID in paper format, when opening an account. This collaboration champions financial inclusion and encourages more Filipinos to register for the National ID.
