Mandate
The PSA shall primarily be responsible for the implementation of the objectives and provisions of R.A. 10625, R.A. 11055, and R.A. 11315. It shall plan, develop, prescribe, disseminate, and enforce policies, rules and regulations, and coordinate government-wide programs governing the production of official statistics, general purpose statistics, civil registration services and inclusive identification system. It shall primarily be responsible for all national censuses and surveys, sectoral statistics, community-based statistics, consolidation of selected administrative recording systems, and compilation of national accounts. LOOK | PSA Conducts Consultative Meeting to Assess Readiness of eCRVS System

As part of its preparations for the Systemโ€™s official launch in October, the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) conducted a consultative meeting on the readiness of the Electronic Civil Registration and Vital Statistics (eCRVS) System on 09 September 2026.

The meeting brought together key officials of the PSA, including Assistant Secretary Minerva Eloisa P. Esquivias, Deputy National Statistician of the Civil Registration and Central Support Office; Assistant National Statistician Engr. Marizza B. Grande of the Civil Registration Service; Assistant National Statistician Marela Lovely Y. Andres of the Registration Operations Service; and Assistant National Statistician Atty. Henedine P. Palabras of the Use Case Development and Management Service, along with representatives from the Department of Health, Local Civil Registry Offices, and City Health Offices. The group assessed system readiness, validated critical workflows, addressed technical and operational gaps, and identified priority actions for successful implementation.

Together with its partners, the PSA is working to build a digital CRVS system that is more efficient, responsive, and better equipped to serve the evolving needs of Filipinos. ๐Ÿ‡ต๐Ÿ‡ญ
