Under the leadership of 𝗙𝗖𝗦𝗨𝗣𝗧 π—₯𝗒𝗬 π—₯π—’π——π—˜π—₯π—œπ—–π—ž 𝗣 π—”π—šπ—¨π—§π—’, 𝗗𝗦𝗖, Regional Director, BFP–National Capital Region, with the supervision of Makati City Fire Marshal 𝐅𝐒𝐔𝐏𝐓 πŒπ€π‘πˆπ€ππŽ 𝐒 π“π€π†π”πˆπ€πŒ, personnel of the Makati City Fire Station conducted a Fire Safety Seminar and Drill for the employees and staff of Crown Regency Hotel Makati, Makati City.

This initiative aimed to promote fire safety awareness and equip participants with the knowledge and skills necessary to respond effectively during fire and other emergency situations. The seminar covered the fundamentals of fire, fire prevention and safety practices, proper use of portable fire extinguishers, and the importance of preparedness and coordinated evacuation procedures. A practical fire drill was also conducted to reinforce the participants understanding and readiness in responding to emergencies.

Under the leadership of 𝗙𝗖𝗦𝗨𝗣𝗧 π—₯𝗒𝗬 π—₯π—’π——π—˜π—₯π—œπ—–π—ž 𝗣 π—”π—šπ—¨π—§π—’, 𝗗𝗦𝗖, Regional Director, BFP–National Capital Region, with the supervision of Makati City Fire Marshal 𝐅𝐒𝐔𝐏𝐓 πŒπ€π‘πˆπ€ππŽ 𝐒 π“π€π†π”πˆπ€πŒ, the Special Rescue Force (SRF) and Bel-Air Fire Sub-Station of Makati City Fire Station participated in the Fire and Rescue Equipment Exhibit during the DepEd Road Show.

The exhibit highlighted essential firefighting and rescue equipment used by BFP personnel in responding to emergencies. Through interactive displays and demonstrations, students, teachers, and visitors gained a better understanding of the Bureau's operational capabilities while promoting fire safety awareness, emergency preparedness, and the importance of community resilience.

JOCSON, Head of the Makati Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (MDRRMO), personnel of the Makati City Fire Station conducted an ocular inspection of the Old Makati City Fire Station in preparation for the upcoming ASEAN Summit.

The inspection was conducted to evaluate the facility's readiness as a designated staging area for emergency response operations during the ASEAN Summit. The activity included the assessment of the site's operational capability, accessibility, and logistical requirements to ensure the strategic positioning of emergency response personnel and resources, strengthening inter-agency coordination and reinforcing Makati City's commitment to public safety and preparedness for the international event.

Under the leadership of 𝗙𝗖𝗦𝗨𝗣𝗧 π—₯𝗒𝗬 π—₯π—’π——π—˜π—₯π—œπ—–π—ž 𝗣. π—”π—šπ—¨π—§π—’, 𝗗𝗦𝗖, Regional Director, BFP–National Capital Region, with the supervision of 𝐅𝐒𝐔𝐏𝐓 πŒπ€π‘πˆπ€ππŽ 𝐒 π“π€π†π”πˆπ€πŒ, Makati City Fire Marshal, the Makati City Fire Station warmly welcomed the children of Junior Starters Makati for an educational station visit at the New Makati City Fire Station.

During the visit, the young learners explored the different areas of the fire station, learned about the roles and responsibilities of firefighters, and received basic fire safety and emergency preparedness orientation. They also had the opportunity to see firefighting apparatus, rescue equipment, and emergency response vehicles up close while interacting with firefighters, making the experience both educational and enjoyable.

The activity aimed to strengthen fire safety awareness among children at an early age while encouraging them to appreciate the dedication, courage, and commitment of firefighters in protecting lives and properties.

When floodwaters rose, so did our commitment to serve.

Makati City Fire Station immediately provided assistance to stranded pedestrians affected by the flooding, helping them safely cross affected street and continue their journey. Throughout the transport operation, our Search and Rescue Force (SRF) and Emergency Medical Services (EMS) personnel were also present and on standby to provide immediate assistance, ensure the safety of those being assisted, and respond promptly to any medical or rescue needs.

Every emergency calls for teamwork, compassion, and swift action. Makati City Fire Station remains committed to delivering timely and reliable public service, ensuring that no one is left behind during times of need.
