💚 OFFICIAL TURNOVER & BLESSING: HYDROPONICS PROJECT 💚

​Today, our community officially welcomed the turnover and blessing of our brand-new Hydroponics Project, generously supported by (JCI) Junior Chamber International!

​The project was formally turned over and accepted by our Barangay 128 Chairman, Sigfred Bobby Hernane, and our Solid Waste Management Chair, Kagawad Wendy Cañeda. This sustainable urban agriculture program is designed to create a holistic community impact, extending its support across various local committees including livelihood, health, senior citizens, children's welfare, and tourism.

​A big, heartfelt thank you to all our Kagawads for your unwavering support of our new project, and to all our active participants who made this possible! 💚

Magandang araw, mga Ka-Barangay!

​Matagumpay nating naisagawa ang Mobile Material Recovery Facility (MMRF) sa ating komunidad, katuwang ang MMDA at ang ating Barangay Council.

​Sa pamamagitan ng programang "Recycle Mo, Palit Grocery Ko", hindi lamang natin nalinis ang ating kapaligiran kundi nakapag-uwi pa ng grocery ang ating mga residente kapalit ng kanilang mga recyclable items!

​Maraming salamat sa bawat isa sa inyo. Patuloy nating ingatan at mahalin ang ating kalikasan! 💚♻️

Malugod po kayong inaanyayahan ng Konseho ng Barangay 128 at Sangguniang Kabataan ng Barangay 128, katuwang ang Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA), sa Paglulunsad ng Mobile Material Recovery Facility (MMRF).

"Recyclables Mo, Palit Grocery Ko!"

Dalhin ang inyong mga recyclable na materyales tulad ng plastik, papel, karton, bote, at lata at ipalit ang mga ito sa grocery items. Sama-sama nating isulong ang wastong paghihiwalay ng basura, pagre-recycle, at pangangalaga sa ating kalikasan.

Ang inyong pakikiisa ay malaking hakbang tungo sa mas malinis, mas luntiang, at mas maunlad na Barangay 128.

Tara na at makiisa! Magdala ng recyclables at mag-uwi ng grocery!

Muling nagsagawa ang DEPS ng Hazardous waste collection sa ating barangay. Maraming-maraming salamat sa aktibong pakikiisa ng bawat isa sa ating mga kabarangay!
​Sa tulong ninyo, mas napanatili nating ligtas at malinis ang ating komunidad mula sa mga mapanganib na uri ng basura. Patuloy po nating isulong ang tamang pamamahala ng basura para sa mas kalikasan-friendly na barangay. ♻️🌿

🌱🥬 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗸𝘀𝗵𝗼𝗽 2: 𝗔𝗴𝗿𝗶 𝗣𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗿𝘆 & 𝗔𝗴𝗿𝗶 𝗧𝗮𝗹𝗸 | 𝗙𝗮𝗿𝗺 𝘁𝗼 𝗣𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗲: 𝗘𝗮𝘁 𝗛𝗲𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗵𝘆, 𝗚𝗿𝗼𝘄 𝗛𝗲𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗵𝘆! 💚

Another successful milestone in our Farm to Plate: Eat Healthy, Grow Healthy! initiative! ✨

Led by 𝗦𝗞 𝗞𝗮𝗴𝗮𝘄𝗮𝗱 𝗠𝗶𝗿𝗮𝗳𝗲𝗹 𝗔𝘃𝗶𝘀𝗼, Workshop 2: Agri Pantry & Agri Talk brought participants together to promote food security, sustainable agriculture, and healthy living.

The workshop featured an insightful Agri Talk by Kagawad Wendy S Cañeda, who shared valuable knowledge on agriculture, community gardening, and the importance of supporting local farmers. Participants also had the opportunity to visit the barangay's HAPAG Project and explore its newest Hydroponics Project, gaining inspiration from innovative and sustainable farming practices within the community.

To cap off the activity, participants received fresh vegetables through the Agri Pantry, encouraging healthier food choices while strengthening support for local agriculture.

Thank you to everyone who joined and made this workshop a success! Together, we continue to cultivate healthier communities and a more sustainable future. 🌾💚
