Ram A. Otto Represents Salunayan Elementary School at Division Learners’ Convergence 2026

Ram A. Otto, President of the Supreme Elementary Learner Government (SELG) of Salunayan Elementary School, is taking part in the Division Learners’ Convergence 2026 being held at Alamada Central Elementary School from September 2 to 4, 2026.

As the elected SELG President, Otto represents Salunayan Elementary School in this division-wide gathering of learner leaders. The convergence provides an opportunity for student leaders to strengthen their leadership skills, exchange ideas, build camaraderie, and participate in activities designed to promote active learner participation and responsible leadership.

Samantha Amor Denaga Dela Cruz brought pride and honor to Salunayan Elementary School after emerging as the Champion in the 8-Ball Billiards event, showcasing remarkable skill, focus, determination, and sportsmanship.

Dela Cruz’s impressive performance in the competition earned her the opportunity to represent Salunayan Elementary School at the Provincial Athletic Meet, where she will compete against other talented young athletes from across the province.

Her victory is a testament to her dedication and countless hours of practice. With every calculated shot and every strategic play, Dela Cruz demonstrated not only her talent in billiards but also the discipline and perseverance needed to succeed in competitive sports.

Salunayan Elementary School successfully hosted the Midsayap Southwest District SELG Learners’ and Advisers’ Convergence 2026, bringing together learner-leaders and their advisers from different schools across the district for a meaningful gathering centered on leadership, collaboration, and learner empowerment last August 21-22, 2026.

The convergence served as a venue for Supreme Elementary Learner Government (SELG) officers and advisers to strengthen their leadership skills, exchange ideas, and share experiences in promoting learner participation and responsible school governance.

Salunayan Elementary School to Host Midsayap Southwest District SELG Learners’ and Advisers’ Convergence 2026

Salunayan Elementary School is set to become the center of youth leadership and collaboration as it hosts the Midsayap Southwest District Supreme Elementary Learner Government (SELG) Learners’ and Advisers’ Convergence, bringing together learner-leaders and their advisers from 10 schools across the district.

The two-day gathering is scheduled on August 21–22, 2026, at Salunayan Elementary School and the Salunayan Barangay Covered Court, Barangay Salunayan, Midsayap, Cotabato.

The convergence aims to provide a meaningful venue for SELG officers and advisers to strengthen their leadership skills, build camaraderie, exchange ideas, and develop initiatives that will contribute to the improvement of their respective schools and communities.

The activity is expected to gather learner representatives and SELG advisers from the participating schools of the Midsayap Southwest District, creating an opportunity for young leaders to learn from one another and establish stronger partnerships.

Salunayan Elementary School Athletes Honored for Outstanding Performance at Municipal Athletic Meet

Salunayan Elementary School proudly recognizes and congratulates its young athletes for their outstanding performance during the Municipal Athletic Meet held on August 15, 2026.

Among the school’s remarkable achievements was the championship victory in Girls’ 8-Ball Billiards, showcasing the athletes’ skill, discipline, determination, and sportsmanship. Their impressive performance brought pride and honor to Salunayan Elementary School and inspired fellow learners to pursue excellence both in sports and academics.

The achievement also highlights the dedication and commitment of their coach, Ramil D. Baldevieso, Teacher I, whose guidance and encouragement helped the athletes prepare for the competition. His support, together with the hard work of the athletes, contributed greatly to the team’s successful campaign.

The school administration, teachers, parents, and the entire Salunayan Elementary School community extend their warmest congratulations to the athletes and their coach for this well-deserved accomplishment.

CMFCI School of Nursing Highlights Adolescent and Reproductive Health Awareness

The School of Nursing of Cotabato Medical Foundation College, Inc. continues to emphasize the importance of health education among adolescents, particularly on issues concerning adolescent and reproductive.

The Second Year Nursing students discussed key concerns surrounding adolescent health and reproductive well-being, encouraging students to become more informed, responsible, and health-conscious individuals. The discussion focused on the physical, emotional, and social changes experienced during adolescence, as well as the importance of making informed decisions regarding reproductive health.

Adolescent and reproductive health education plays an important role in helping young people understand their bodies, relationships, personal boundaries, and responsibilities. It also promotes awareness of healthy behaviors and encourages adolescents to seek accurate information and appropriate healthcare services when needed.

As future healthcare professionals, nursing students have an important role in providing adolescents with reliable, respectful, and age-appropriate health information. Through education and community engagement, nurses can help address misconceptions, promote preventive health practices, and support young people in making informed choices.

Eight Young Pens, Ready to Make a Mark

Eight learners from Salunayan Elementary School actively participated in the Division Training Workshop for Campus Journalists held at Villarica High School, Villarica, Midsayap, Cotabato.

The learners attended various journalism areas, gaining valuable knowledge and skills in news writing, feature writing, editorial writing, photojournalism, editorial cartooning and other campus journalism disciplines. Through the training, they were given opportunities to enhance their writing abilities, creativity, and confidence as young campus journalists.

The activity aims to develop the learners’ journalistic skills and prepare them to become responsible and competent school paper writers. Their participation also showcased the school’s commitment to nurturing young talents in journalism.

Limang g**o ang lumahok sa PRESS PLAY Division Training-Workshop for School Paper Advisers na ginanap noong Agosto 8–9, 2026 sa Dilangalen National High School.

Tampok sa dalawang araw na pagsasanay ang mga talakayan at gawain na nakatuon sa pagpapaunlad ng kaalaman at kasanayan sa campus journalism. Layunin nitong higit na mapalakas ang kakayahan ng mga School Paper Advisers sa paggabay sa mga batang mamamahayag.

Sa pamamagitan ng pagsasanay, inaasahang maisasalin ng mga g**o ang kanilang mga natutuhan sa kanilang mga mag-aaral upang mapaunlad ang kalidad ng pamamahayag sa paaralan.
