Salunayan Elementary School officially began its celebration of World Teachers’ Day with a solemn prayer and heartfelt tribute led by the Supreme Elementary Learners Government (SELG).

The opening activity served as a meaningful expression of gratitude and appreciation for the dedication, patience, and commitment of the school’s teachers. Through the prayer, the learners offered their thanks and asked for blessings for the teachers who continue to guide and inspire them in their educational journey.

Following the prayer, the SELG presented a special tribute to the teaching staff. The activity highlighted the important role of teachers in shaping the learners’ knowledge, character, and dreams.

The simple yet meaningful celebration reflected the learners’ sincere appreciation for their teachers. It also set the tone for the school’s World Teachers’ Day celebration, reminding everyone of the invaluable contribution of educators in building a brighter future for the children.

The activity concluded with a message of gratitude from the learners, expressing their appreciation to the teachers for their unwavering support and dedication.

The Salunayan Elementary School informs everyone that work in government offices will be suspended starting at 1:00 PM on Monday, September 28, 2026, in observance of the 34th National Family Week.

This suspension is intended to give government employees and their families an opportunity to spend meaningful time together and participate in activities that celebrate the importance of family.

Displaying remarkable focus, determination, and skill, Samantha Amor Denaga Dela Cruz emerged as a champion in the 8-Ball Billiards competition during the 51st Provincial Athletic Meet held at Barangay Dalapitan, Matalam, Cotabato.

With steady hands and a sharp eye for every shot, Samantha showcased her talent and composure throughout the competition. Her victory became a proud moment not only for herself but also for her school, family, teachers, and supporters who stood behind her journey as a young athlete.

Salunayan Elementary School Receives UDM-LEARRN Cash Grant for Learners

Salunayan Elementary School has received financial assistance through the UDM-LEARRN Cash Grants, a flagship program of Mayor Rolando C. Sacdalan designed to provide support and assistance to learners of Midsayap.

The cash grant was formally received on behalf of Salunayan Elementary School by Pinangbai D. Karon, Principal I, Katrina Jane D. Gardose, PTA Treasurer, and Andrew Louie D. Sotomil, Teacher III.

The UDM-LEARRN initiative reflects the local government's continuing commitment to supporting education and helping ensure that learners are given the resources they need to pursue their studies. The program is envisioned to extend meaningful assistance to students and their families, particularly in addressing some of the financial challenges associated with education.

For Salunayan Elementary School, the grant is seen as a valuable support to its learners and the school community. Learner-Leaders of Midsayap Southwest District Join 2026 Division Learners’ Convergence in Alamada

Learner-leaders from the Midsayap Southwest District actively participated in the recently concluded 2026 Division Learners’ Convergence, held from September 2 to 4, 2026, at Alamada Central Elementary School.

The three-day convergence brought together learner-leaders from various schools across the Schools Division of Cotabato, providing a meaningful venue for young leaders to strengthen their leadership skills, share experiences, build friendships, and engage in activities designed to promote learner participation and leadership.

Among the representatives of the Midsayap Southwest District was Ram A. Otto, who represented Salunayan Elementary School. Otto joined fellow learner-leaders in the convergence, carrying with him the aspirations and voice of the learners of his school and district.
