The activity aimed to enhance the participants knowledge, practical skills, and teamwork in firefighting, basic rescue operations, and emergency response. Through hands-on drills and realistic simulations, the barangay responders were equipped with essential techniques that will help them respond effectively during fire incidents and other emergencies.
This capability-building activity also serves as preparation for the upcoming Firefighting and Rescue Olympics, where Barangay Balogo will showcase the skills, discipline, and teamwork gained from the training. Similar training initiatives are commonly used to strengthen local responder competencies and readiness for emergency scenarios.
