📚🎉 GREAT NEWS FOR SDO PASSI CITY! 🎉📚

The Learning Resource Management Section (LRMS) is delighted to announce our newest partner in promoting literacy and learning—the Ashley BookCart Library of Ms. Ashley Palmares and Family, one of our proud Passinhon donors.

Through the assistance and support of Kawsa Philippines volunteers, this meaningful initiative was made possible, bringing books, learning resources, and engaging educational experiences closer to learners across SDO Passi City.

Last Saturday marked the official launch of the Ashley BookCart Library at Bagacay Elementary School, the first school to welcome the BookCart. The event brought joy and excitement to learners, parents, teachers, and community members.

Aside from providing books and learning materials, Ms. Ashley Palmares and her family generously distributed school supplies and food to learners and parents. Participants also enjoyed various interactive learning activities that promoted learning, creativity, and fun.
The Ashley BookCart Library will continue its journey to different schools in SDO Passi City, ensuring that more learners have access to quality reading materials and meaningful learning opportunities.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Ms. Ashley Palmares and Family and the Kawsa Philippines volunteers for their generosity, dedication, and commitment to advancing literacy and education in our community.

📚✨ 📚✨ As the SDO Library Hub officially opens its doors, we are also opening opportunities for book and learning resource donations! ✨📚

We warmly welcome donations of books, educational materials, learning resources, and other library-related items that can help enrich the learning experiences of our learners, teachers, and community members.

Recently, we were blessed to receive one (1) set of Disney Magic English for our Key Stage 1 learners from our very own Division Accountant, Ma'am Donna Palma. This valuable donation will help strengthen literacy and language development through fun and engaging learning activities. Her generosity and support for literacy and education are truly appreciated and will positively impact many young learners.

If you would like to be part of this meaningful advocacy, we invite individuals, organizations, alumni, and partners to share resources that can benefit our SDO Library Hub.

A New Chapter for Learning: Opening and Blessing of the SDO Passi City Library Hub 📚✨

A meaningful milestone was celebrated as the Schools Division Office (SDO) Passi City Library Hub officially opened and was blessed, marking the beginning of another journey toward strengthening literacy, learning, and knowledge sharing in the community.

The program started with a Holy Mass at 9:00 AM, followed by the blessing and inauguration ceremony, attended by education leaders, personnel, partners, and stakeholders who share the vision of promoting a culture of reading and lifelong learning.

This remarkable achievement of the Learning Resource Management Section (LRMS), headed by Dr. Dexter P. Diergos, LR Supervisor, together with Ma’am Margielyn S. Macalalag, Division Librarian II, and Ma’am Jolyn P. Palma, PDO II, reflects the continuous commitment to provide quality library services and innovative learning spaces for learners, teachers, and the community.

📚 Our School Libraries in Action During Brigada Eskwela 2026! 🛠️✨

From June 1–5, 2026, our dedicated School Library In-Charge personnel actively participated in the Brigada Eskwela activities, helping prepare school libraries to become more welcoming, organized, and learner-friendly spaces for the incoming school year.

📢 Update on the SDO Passi City Library Hub! 📚✨

The Library Hub at Passi I Central School—constructed from June 2025 and completed in January 2026—is now fully furnished and ready to serve our learners! The SDO is preparing for the formal turnover, which will happen very soon.

With this, the Learning Resource Management Section (LRMS) is calling for donations in preparation for the grand opening of the SDO Passi City Library Hub.

Get ready, Passi City learners, to explore, discover, and be inspired! 🌟

During every Bookmobile visit in our schools in Passi City, the spirit of cooperation comes alive. As the bookmobile arrives, teachers and learners eagerly help one another—pulling out books, setting up reading spaces, and sharing the joy of learning. There are no spectators, only partners united by one goal: to bring stories, knowledge, and hope closer to every child.
