On the same day, a Fire Drill Evaluation was conducted to assess the organizationโ€™s emergency preparedness and response capability. The drill included activation of the fire alarm system, evacuation procedures, accountability at the designated assembly area, initial fire suppression using portable extinguishers, and response operations of the company fire brigade, including the use of PPE and SCBA and coordination under emergency conditions.

A total of twenty (20) participants completed the training and participated in the fire drill evaluation.

Pavia Fire Station headed by FSINSP MARY ANGELIE B JALA led this morningโ€™s traditional flag-raising ceremony.

Following the ceremony, the Bureau of Fire Protection 6, represented by FSINSP MARY ANGELIE B JALA together with FO1 John Henry I Oducado, awarded a Plaque of Appreciation to the Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (MDRRMO) Pavia, represented by Mr. Rommel Jamerlan, in recognition of their invaluable support and assistance through the provision of tools and equipment used during the Bureauโ€™s preparation and training for the National Fire Olympics 2026.

Their support greatly contributed to the teamโ€™s outstanding achievement as Champion in the Life Extrication Category and Overall 1st Place Nationwide.
