PMC KABAYANIHAN RUN 2026 – PUERTO PRINCESA CITY LEG

30 August 2026 | Puerto Princesa City, Palawan — The 3rd Marine Brigade successfully spearheaded the conduct of the PMC Kabayanihan Run 2026 – Puerto Princesa City Leg at the Ramon V. Mitra Jr. Sports Complex, Puerto Princesa City, Palawan.

The activity brought together runners, military personnel, government partners, stakeholders, volunteers, and members of the community in a unified display of camaraderie, discipline, physical fitness, and patriotism, in honor of the valor and selfless service of the nation’s heroes.

A significant highlight of the event was the awarding of the Top Three Male and Female Podium Finishers in all race categories, led by MGEN VICENTE MARK ANTHONY P. BLANCO III PN(M), Commandant, Philippine Marine Corps, and BGEN WILFREDO B. MANALANG JR PN(M), Commander, 3rd Marine Brigade.

Further showcasing the warrior spirit, discipline, and operational readiness of the Philippine Marine Corps were dynamic demonstrations featuring Military Free Fall, Pekiti-Tirsia Kali, and Reconnaissance Exercise Demonstrations, which drew strong interest and appreciation from the participants and spectators.

The event also featured major and minor raffle prizes, adding excitement and anticipation as lucky participants were given the opportunity to take home various prizes.

The successful conduct of the PMC Kabayanihan Run 2026 – Puerto Princesa City Leg reflects the Philippine Marine Corps’ continuing commitment to strengthening camaraderie, promoting physical fitness, fostering community partnership, and honoring the spirit of kabayanihan.

The 3rd Marine Brigade extends its sincere appreciation to all runners, sponsors, partner agencies, stakeholders, volunteers, and supporters whose collective efforts and unwavering support contributed to the successful conduct of this significant activity.

COMMANDANT, PHILIPPINE MARINE CORPS FAREWELL VISIT TO 3RD MARINE BRIGADE

30 August 2026 | Puerto Princesa City, Palawan — MGEN VICENTE MARK ANTHONY P BLANCO III PN(M), Commandant, Philippine Marine Corps, conducted a command visit to Headquarters, 3rd Marine Brigade, as part of his farewell engagements prior to the conclusion of his tenure as Commandant of the Corps.

During the visit, MGEN BLANCO III led the inauguration of the newly repaired Junior NCO Barracks, G1, G6, Sergeant Major, and Headquarters and Service Company Offices. The improved facilities further strengthen the welfare, administrative support, and operational readiness of Team Agila.

MGEN BLANCO III, together with his wife, also participated in the PMC “Kabayanihan Run” 2026 – Puerto Princesa City Leg, held in the morning in celebration of National Heroes Day. His participation underscored the enduring values of fitness, camaraderie, and service, while honoring the courage and sacrifice of Filipino heroes.

The visit culminated in a fellowship night hosted by the 3rd Marine Brigade, further strengthening camaraderie, esprit de corps, and unit cohesion among the officers and personnel of Team Agila.
