IN PHOTOS (SEPTEMBER 21, 2026): As part of Secretary Francis N. Tolentino's plan to accommodate Filipino workers with workplace disputes and concerns, DOLE NCR Regional Director Atty. Roy L. Buenafe and Assistant Regional Director Atty. Jude Thomas P. Trayvilla, signed a Memorandum of Agreement with QC City Mayor Joy Belmonte, NLRC Chairperson Atty. Grace E. Maniquez-Tan, and RCMB OIC Director Atty. Rubilyn M. Abando, for the implementation of the Quezon City Alternative Dispute Resolution Desk (QUAD-RD) Program.

The program hopes to resolve workplace disputes faster on a local level, and ensure a window of opportunity for early and amicable settlements.

HAPPENING NOW (SEPTEMBER 16, 2026): In Secretary Francis N. Tolentino's effort to curve the uncertain labor market for graduating college students, the DOLE Quezon City Field Office, represented by Supervising Labor and Employment Officer Ryan Roberto E. Delos Reyes provided an orientation and ocular inspection with National University - Fairview Campus.

This is to accredit the university as a Job Placement Office and stand as a gateway for students and alumnis to possible internships and permanent positions.

(SEPTEMBER 14, 2026) HAPPENING NOW: In celebration of the President Ferdinand Marcos Jr.'s birthday, the Department of Labor and Employment, represented by Secretary Francis N. Tolentino, conducted the "Handog ng Pangulo: Serbisyong Sapat Para sa Lahat" Job Fair 2026 at Ali Mall, Quezon City.

As part of this services, the job fair today is taking place at Lower Ground Floor, Ali Mall, Araneta City, Quezon City, with 2,000+ job vacancies and 15+ participating companies.

In a video message, Secretary Francis N. Tolentino expressed his gratitude to the committed job seekers and willing to hire employers that made the Handog ng Pangulo Job Fair 2026 possible.

"Buwan buwan gagawin na natin 'to (job fair) ...because every Filipino deserves a fair shot of good and stable work," he said.

Also present in the event is Director IV Rosalinda Pineda, representing Undersecretary Carmela I. Torres of DOLE Human Resource Development and International Affairs Cluster; Officials from the DOLE-NCR Quezon City Field Office led by Supervising LEO Ryan Roberto E. Delos Reyes; Staff from QC PESO led by Reuben Mejia; Quezon City Councilor Atty. Christoffer Allan A. Liquigan from the 3rd Congressional District.

(SEPTEMBER 14, 2026) HAPPENING NOW: The Department of Labor and Employment take part in the "Handog ng Pangulo: Serbisyong Sapat para sa Lahat" one-stop-shop caravan 2026 at Quezon City Hall, M.I.C.E Building.

"Ang Handog ng Pangulo: Serbisyong Sapat Para sa Lahat" (The President's Offering: Adequate Services for All) is a national program and public service caravan held every September to celebrate the birthday of President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr.

Along with various government agencies, the DOLE-NCR Quezon City Field Office team led by Field Office Director Rowella V. Grande partakes in providing employment service to our Filipino youths through the Government Internship Program (GIP) and Special Program for the Employment of Students (SPES).

The Government Internship Program (GIP) is a DOLE program that provides young people with temporary employment and practical work experience in government offices. It aims to enhance their skills, work values, and employability by exposing them to actual workplace environments and government service. Through GIP, beneficiaries receive a stipend while gaining valuable knowledge and experience that can help prepare them for future employment.

The Special Program for Employment of Students (SPES), on the other hand, provides temporary employment opportunities to qualified students and out-of-school youth, particularly during school breaks or other eligible periods. It allows young beneficiaries to earn income while gaining work experience, helping them support their education and develop skills needed for future employment. Both GIP and SPES are DOLE initiatives designed to promote youth employment, skills development, and productive participation in the workforce.

Launched by the Office of the President in 2024 and in celebration of the birthday of President Ferdinand R. Marcos, Jr., the initiative brings government programs, services, and assistance closer to Filipinos through collaboration between national government agencies and local government units.

For the preparation of the Manager's Check, the payee should be "DEPARTMENT OF LABOR AND EMPLOYMENT – NATIONAL CAPITAL REGION" or "DOLE-NCR." Payment will be accepted strictly from 8:00 A.M. to 3:00 P.M. only.
This temporary payment arrangement will remain in effect until the online payment system has resumed. Once resumed, no on-site payments will be allowed, and the public will be advised accordingly.
