The City General Services Department (CGSD) provides assistance and support to the Honorable City Mayor in ensuring the delivery of basic services for the Quezon City Citizen’s which requires general services expertise and technical support services. The general services management process ensures that infrastructure, work environment, premises, properties and supplies necessary for the effective

delivery of QCG’s products and services and for the efficient operation of various processes within QCG are adequately provided and maintained. As mandated by Republic Act 7160 An Act Providing for a Local Government Code of 1991, COA Circular 92-386, RA 9470 and all other applicable laws, rules and regulations to City General Services Department manages this integral process. The core operations of the City General Services Department include Movable Property Management, Warehouse Storage Management, Records Disposition Management, Fixed Assets Management, Buildings and Grounds Management, and Transport Support Management.

OATH-TAKING CEREMONY

The oath-taking ceremony for the newly appointed and promoted employees of the City General Services Department (CGSD) was administered by the Officer-in-Charge (OIC), CGSD on 20 May 2026.

These employees were screened and found qualified by the Quezon City Human Resource Merit Promotion and Selection Board (HRMPSB) during its deliberation held on 17 April 2026. The effectivity of their appointments was on 18 May 2026.
