The Quezon City Protection Center (QCPC) joins the family, friends, and loved ones of 𝗝𝗼𝘀𝗲𝗳𝗶𝗻𝗮 “𝗝𝗼𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗲” 𝗙𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗲𝘀𝗴𝗼𝗻 in mourning her passing.

With deep gratitude and profound sadness, we honor the life and legacy of Jossie, who faithfully served the QCPC since 2014. For more than a decade, she dedicated herself to the protection and welfare of women, children, and members of the LGBTQIA+ community who are victim-survivors of Gender-Based Violence.

Through her compassion, professionalism, and unwavering commitment to public service, she became a source of hope and support to countless individuals facing difficult circumstances. Her work reflected not only her expertise but also her genuine care for the people she served and her steadfast belief in the dignity and rights of every person.

Jossie’s contributions to the QCPC and to the communities we serve have left a lasting impact. She will be remembered not only as a valued colleague and trusted VAWC Consultant, but also as a kind-hearted mentor, friend, and advocate whose dedication inspired those around her.

As we grieve this loss, we remain deeply grateful for her years of service and the legacy of compassion she leaves behind. Her memory will continue to inspire us in our mission to protect, empower, and serve.

We extend our heartfelt condolences to her family, friends, and loved ones. May they find comfort in the countless lives she touched and in the enduring impact of her life's work.

Para sa mga emergency at nangangailangan ng agarang serbisyong medikal, maari po kayong dumiretso sa Emergency Room (ER) ng Quezon City General Hospital and Medical Center (QCGHMC).

Hangad namin na maging makabuluhan at mapayapa ang inyong Semana Santa, mga kaQCitizens, na puno ng biyaya at pagninilay. 🙏

Kung ikaw o may kakilala kang nakakaranas ng pang-aabuso o diskriminasyon, hindi ka nag-iisa. Ang Quezon City Protection Center (QCPC) ay handang tumulong at magbigay ng agarang suporta, proteksyon, at serbisyo para sa kababaihan, kabataan, at LGBTIQIA+ individuals na biktima ng gender-based violence.

Mayroon kaming psychosocial, medical, at legal assistance, at para sa VAWC clients, meron ding temporary shelter (Bahay Kanlungan) kung saan maaari kang manatili nang ligtas habang inaayos ang iyong sitwasyon.

Bilang bahagi ng DBM’s 𝗔𝗕𝗢𝗧-𝗞𝗔𝗠𝗔𝗬 𝗜𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲—ang official CSR program ng Department of Budget and Management sa pangunguna ni 𝘼𝙨𝙨𝙞𝙨𝙩𝙖𝙣𝙩 𝙎𝙚𝙘𝙧𝙚𝙩𝙖𝙧𝙮 𝘿𝙞𝙖𝙣𝙖 𝘾. 𝘾𝙖𝙢𝙖𝙘𝙝𝙤-𝙈𝙚𝙧𝙘𝙖𝙙𝙤, 𝙑𝙞𝙘𝙚 𝘾𝙝𝙖𝙞𝙧𝙥𝙚𝙧𝙨𝙤𝙣 𝙣𝙜 𝘿𝘽𝙈 𝙂𝙚𝙣𝙙𝙚𝙧 𝙁𝙤𝙘𝙖𝙡 𝙋𝙤𝙞𝙣𝙩 𝙎𝙮𝙨𝙩𝙚𝙢 𝙖𝙩 𝙃𝙚𝙖𝙙 𝙣𝙜 𝙂𝘼𝘿-𝙏𝙚𝙘𝙝𝙣𝙞𝙘𝙖𝙡 𝙒𝙤𝙧𝙠𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙂𝙧𝙤𝙪𝙥—matagumpay na naisagawa ang isang makabuluhang outreach activity katuwang ang 𝙌𝘾 𝙋𝙧𝙤𝙩𝙚𝙘𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝘾𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙚𝙧, sa pamumuno ni 𝙈𝙨. 𝙅𝙖𝙣𝙚𝙩𝙚 𝙍. 𝙊𝙫𝙞𝙚𝙙𝙤, 𝙈𝙋𝘼, 𝙊𝙛𝙛𝙞𝙘𝙚𝙧-𝙞𝙣-𝘾𝙝𝙖𝙧𝙜𝙚. Ang nasabing aktibidad ay ginanap sa HB Hall ng Quezon City General Hospital ngayong ika-26 ng Marso, bilang bahagi ng pagdiriwang ng Women’s Month.

Layunin ng programang ito na palakasin ang social involvement ng mga empleyado at makapaghatid ng makabuluhang suporta sa iba’t ibang komunidad sa pamamagitan ng volunteerism at malasakit.

Nagkaroon ng pagkakataon ang DBM volunteers at QCPC beneficiaries na mag-connect sa pamamagitan ng interactive activities tulad ng iba’t-ibang games at ang Tree of Hope activity. Dito nila naibahagi ang kanilang mga pangarap, goals, at aspirations sa isang ligtas at supportive na environment. Higit pa sa isang activity, ito ay naging espasyo kung saan ang bawat isa ay nakaramdam na sila ay nakikita, napapakinggan, at pinapahalagahan.

Bilang bahagi ng malasakit, namahagi rin ng gift packs na naglalaman ng basic necessities tulad ng pagkain at hygiene items. Ang mga ito ay naisakatuparan sa pamamagitan ng kusang-loob na kontribusyon at kabutihang-loob ng DBM employees.

Ang inisyatibang ito ay hindi bahagi ng pondo ng DBM bilang ahensya, kundi bunga ng sama-samang pagkilos ng mga empleyado na pinanday ng diwa ng charity, volunteerism, at tunay na malasakit sa kapwa. Sa simpleng pagbabahagi, naipakita ang lakas ng kolektibong pagtulong at ang hangaring makapagbigay pag-asa sa iba.

Ang ABOT-KAMAY Initiative ay sumasalamin sa tunay na diwa ng buwan ng mga kababaihan, ang pag-angat, pag-suporta, at pagbibigay pag-asa sa bawat kababaihan. Sama-sama nating ipagpatuloy ang malasakit at empowerment para sa mas matatag at mas inklusibong komunidad.
