The Services sector 🏢 continued to account for the largest share of employed persons in the Philippines at 62.7% in June 2026.

Meanwhile, the Agriculture 🌾 and Industry 🏭 sectors accounted for 20.0% and 17.3% of the total employment, respectively.

READ | Consumer Price Index for the Bottom 30% Income Households (2018=100): July 2026

The country’s inflation rate for households in the bottom 30% of the income distribution increased to 8.2% in July 2026, from 8.0% in June 2026.

Food inflation for the bottom 30% of income households at the national level recorded a year-on-year growth rate of 8.5% in July 2026, up from 8.2% in the previous month. In July 2026, it recorded a 3.5% annual decrease.

Inflation for the bottom 30% of income households in the National Capital Region (NCR) slowed down to 4.5% in July 2026, from 5.0% in June 2026.

Inflation for the bottom 30% of income households in areas outside NCR also showed an uptrend at 8.3% in July 2026, from 8.1% in June 2026.
