The operation was conducted on May 30, 2026, at a hotel in Barangay Habay 2, Bacoor City through an entrapment operation led by the Women and Children Protection Section (WCPS), in coordination with intelligence and SWAT units.
The suspect, identified as alias โJAYEM,โ was arrested following reports of threats, coercion, and abuse against the minor victim. Authorities recovered a caliber .38 revolver, ammunition, a mobile phone containing sensitive materials, and other personal belongings. The victim was safely rescued while appropriate criminal charges are being prepared against the suspect before the City Prosecutorโs Office.

The commendation was awarded by ARIEL O. IGLESIA, CESO III, Regional Director, DILG 4A, recognized the police officersโ vigilance, effective coordination, and swift law enforcement action that resulted in the apprehension of suspects illegally conducting fire safety inspections without proper authority. The operation likewise led to the recovery of a service vehicle containing several fire extinguishers allegedly used in their fraudulent activities.
According to BFP Region 4A, the strong inter-agency collaboration between the Bureau of Fire Protection and the Bacoor PNP significantly contributed to preventing fraudulent schemes targeting business establishments and residents.
The suspects were found to be falsely representing themselves as fire department personnel and conducting unauthorized inspections before attempting to sell fire extinguishers to unsuspecting victims. These recognitions collectively underscore the dedication, professionalism, and commitment of Bacoor PNP personnel in protecting the community, combating criminality, and delivering responsive police service. They likewise highlight the importance of strong partnerships among law enforcement agencies, the local government, and the community in ensuring public safety and security.
