Communication goes beyond spoken words. It is about making sure everyone has the opportunity to be heard, understood, and included. 🤝✨

The Philippine Heart Center conducted a Basic Sign Language Seminar last August 27, 2026, facilitated by members of the 𝗣𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗽𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗔𝘀𝘀𝗼𝗰𝗶𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗗𝗲𝗮𝗳, 𝗜𝗻𝗰. (𝗣𝗔𝗗𝗜), Mr. Rey Villanueva and Mr. Ferdinand Vizmanos, accompanied by Miss Flordeliza and Sir Eddie.

The session introduced participants to basic signs and practical ways to communicate with members of the Deaf community, while highlighting the importance of inclusive, accessible, and respectful communication in the workplace and in healthcare.

Through learning opportunities like this, PHC continues to foster a culture where communication has no barriers and everyone has a place to be understood. 💙👐
